Late medieval to post medieval cast uniface lead-alloy token of Powell Class 19. It is decorated on one side with a raised design of a quadruped within a plain line border, probably a stag with head lowered and antlers rising over the back, alternatively it is a long necked animal. The reverse has two straight incised lines crossing off centre. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally. They are therefore hard to date precisely and examples with simple designs could be medieval to late post medieval in date (c. AD 1250-1800).

Two lead alloy parallel-sided ingots of uncertain date. One ingot is sub-rectangular in plan and cross-section. Two of the edges on one of the narrow sides are bevelled. 66.4. x 10.4 x 10.3mm. A Post Medieval lead alloy four-part cloth seal dating from AD1668 or 1669. The seal was folded whereas the integral rivet was pushed through the perforated disc and hammered flat to secure it. Disc one includes the integral rivet. Disc two bears a square royal shield whilst on disc three the lettering "CAR/SAY" is still legible. Disc two is the first inner disc and shows an animal, possibly horse, with raised fore leg and the letters PH. Disc four is the final perforated disc and has no markings. Cast lead-alloy token probably dating from the later post-medieval or early modern period, that is c. AD1600-1800. The token is inscribed I.W. on the obverse and has an unidentified symbol on the reverse. The symbol on the reverse resembles weighing scales (which wouid make sense in this context) or, possibly, an inaccurate fleur-de-lys, if turned 180 degrees. Small circular cast lead-alloy seal dating from the medieval or post-medieval period, that is c. AD1300-1700. The seal is small, with a shield on the obverse and some now illegible writing/initials on the reverse. Several of these seals are known and have been recorded on the database (LANCUM-BFF821, LANCUM-EE7F16 and LANCUM-EE7A53, but unfortunately their origin is poorly understood. They are probably bale or sack seals, maybe from a local manufacturer.

Very small thin cast lead-alloy token dating from the medieval or early post-medieval period, that is c. AD1300-1700. It is circular and decorated with a pentacle (five pointed star) on one side and a swirly motif on the other. The function of these lead tokens is poorly understood but in the 17th century they were certainly used as tokens for very small change, and a similar function can be envisioned for some earlier pieces.

A Post-Medieval (c.1500-1700) lead alloy (pewter) probable toy frying pan or tableware, now in two parts. It measures 102.47mm in length, 39.73mm in max.width, 12.05mm in depth and weighs 13.05g. It is broken across the long handle. The bowl measures 39.73mm in diameter and is 12.05mm in depth. On the underside is a concentric ring 19.67mm in diameter which acts as a foot. A cast sheet lead alloy child's toy length 37mm width 30mm, thickness 2mm, weight 14.84g. This is triangular in plan and represents the lower half of a female figure wearing a long, wide dress. The upper body has been truncated resulting in the loss of the arms and head. The top part of the dress has two sections of cross-hatched decoration, representing lace panels. In the middle of the dress is a transverse band flanked by opposing arches, then a band of striations at the base. Cast lead alloy spindle whorl probably dating to the Medieval period, (1100-1500). The object is circular in plan and biconical. It has a regular central circular perforation. Each face is decorated with a series of moulded linear ridges and pellets. The object has a light white patina. Both faces show signs of wear. Similar examples of spindle whorls have reportedly been found in contexts dated from the Roman through to the Post-Medieval period although the majority are typically dated broadly to the Medieval period c.1066-1500.

Cast lead alloy possible model for an Early Medieval horse harness link. The object is sub-rectangular in plan and D-shaped in cross section. One end curves upwards slightly. The opposite end expands into an incomplete loop which terminates with a break. In the centre of the object are three bands of transverse moulding.
