Fragment of bone pin. Part of the slightly faceted shaft survives, which is oblong in section. There are signs that the shaft has been burnt, with more than half of it blackened. It is 14.7mm in length, 3.7-9mm wide, 2.5-2.7 thick and weighs 0.26g.Though unclassifiable and undatable, it is probably Roman.

Incomplete bone pin, Crummy type 3, head B. The head has a conical upper half and a slightly rounded lower half. There is a narrow transverse groove at the junction of the head and shaft The shaft is circular in section and is slightly faceted. Th eobject has a mottled dark and beige patina. It is 35.58mm long, the diameter of the shaft is 2.9mm, the diameter of the head is 5.6mm and it weighs 1.4g. See Crummy 1983, page 22.

Roman dolphin brooch fragment with spring mechanism. There is a backward pointing hook to hold the chord – there is a shallow, wide groove across this, then the hook extends a short way down the bow, as a slightly raised central rib.
