Broad period: ROMAN
County: East Riding of Yorkshire
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation
A complete cast lead weight of probable Roman date. The weight is tall and plano-convex in plan with a central rod of iron projecting from the base and apex. Both end of the rod have split terminals and were most probably used for suspension. The metal has a mid whitish-brown colour and is worn.
