A Roman spur, the pierced terminal discs are missing and the surfaces are mostly worn away. On the heel is an engraved saltire. In the heel is an aperture to take the iron goad, part of which survives.

A rectangular medieval openwork buckle plate or fastener. The plate is decorated with five keyhole-shaped apertures which lie in a band across the plate. Adjacent to the apertures is a raised strip incised with a single line of diaper work. From this end of the plate there were originally four long projections each comprising a short parallel-sided strip ending in a circular expansion. The surviving projection retains a rivet in the centre of the circular expansion.
