A cast copper alloy strap fitting or mount, probably Late Iron Age to Roman in date.
The object is formed from an oval domed, with a flat reverse. The front surface has a raised central ridge and either side has been divided into six further cells, each cell has been infilled with enamel which alternates in colour between white and red.
On the reverse is a circular loop, which is set into the otherwise flat surface.
The metal is corroded and much of the original surface has been lost.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Skeuomorphic plate brooch, in the form of a sandal. The brooch has enamelled decoration, but much of the surface has been lost. There is a raised rim around the edge of the brooch. This has then been infilled with a light blue enamel which has been further decorated with white spots. The reverse is undecorated. The catchplate survives but it has been broken. There are also the remains of the twin lug. An incomplete cast copper alloy brooch; possibly Zoomorphic in the form of possibly a fish. The brooch has traces of enamelled decoration, but much of the surface has been lost. An incomplete cast copper-alloy circular mount or stud. This mount is circular and flat. It has been decorated with a raised flower-like design with four petals, each enamelled blue. The area around the petals was infilled, but the enamel has worn away. Around the flower is a ring and around that are a series of raised triangles, each infilled with alternating colours of blue and yellow. The mount is heavily worn and corroded. A small incomplete tear-drop-shaped copper-alloy hooked tag of early-medieval date. The flat plate of the fitting has two holes drilled in it, and has broken across one of the holes removing one side of the plate. The front is decorated with a grooved cross design, apparently made up of small individual punchmarks, with a central ring-and-dot motif. In each quarter of the cross there is either (at the top) one of the two rivet holes, or (in the lower quarters) a further ring and dot motif. The hook has broken off. A small elaborate Neolithic thumb scraper. The scraper has a shallow plano-convex section, with one rounded side and one convex. The flint is roughly circular in overall shape. It has been formed from a dark brownish-grey flint. The bulb of percussion and striking platform both survive, with bulb scars, and the ripples of percussion are still evident. The retouch is shallow and extensive.

An almost complete and very elaborate cast copper-alloy Roman Headstud brooch, dating from the 2nd century AD. At the apex of the head is a complete head lug. The wings are solid and triangular in section. The hinge mechanism is therefore a tubular type, with an iron axis bar. The pin is attached via the axis bar. It is slightly off-set. An incomplete copper alloy trumpet brooch, dating from between 75-175 AD. The head and bow remain intact, but the pin, most of the pin fitting and foot are missing. Behind the head is an integral loop in to which the spring pin fitting would have been attached via a chord. Above the loop is a protrusion extending upwards slightly above the head. An incomplete cast copper-alloy strap-end of Thomas Class B, Type 6, late early-medieval in date (c. 11th century). It is formed from a flat plate of metal, which has broken at one end and terminates at the other with a large stylised zoomorphic head. The style is early-medieval in character, of the Late Viking Age art styles of Ringerike/Urnes. The broken terminal has a hole through it, probably a rivet hole. It is broadly comparable with an example illustrated by Thomas (2003, 5; fig. 2, no. 19).
