About 10% of the circumference has been cut straight and there is a small crack to one side of the cut. Similar examples with a wide range of fictitious legends can be found illustrated in Mitchiner (1988, 382-383) where they are dated to the first half of the 16th century.

A copper alloy Nuremberg jetton of Hanns Krauwinckel II (c.1585-1635). The obverse legend HANNS KRAUWINCKEL IN NVR gives the master's name, with NVR an abbreviation of Nuremberg. The design is of three crowns alternated with three lis arranged around a central rose. The reverse legend, GOTT ALLEIN DIE EERE SEI translates to 'God alone should be the 'Eere' - this may be a misspelling of EHRE, which would then translate the legend to 'So to God alone the glory'. The design on the reverse is of an imperial orb within a tressure of three arches and three angles.
