Cast copper alloy two-piece domed button with soldered attachment loop. The face of the button is very worn and hard to make out but the back mark is clear: .FIRMIN & WESTALL. STRAND which operated in London from c.1794-1812. The letters within the seven-pointed star of the Order of the Garter, surmounted by a crown, appear to be D G which stands for Dragoon Guards, with an X above them which would stand for the 10th Regiment which became the Prince of Wales' Own Hussars in 1806. A cast copper-alloy buckle of 17th-18th century date. The buckle is double-looped, with flaring D-shaped outer frames emerging either side of a cast integral crossbar. Grooved, moulded banding runs across the width of the outer frame at both ends of the buckle, and one end shows a work groove in the outer frame.

An incomplete, damaged and misshapen post-Medieval to Modern cast copper-alloy 'hawking' whistle (c. 1700-c. 1900 AD). The main body of the whistle is hollow and tubular in cross-section with a semi-circular sound hole at the top. Between the sound hole and the mouth-piece is a narrow collar and level with the collar, on the inside of the whistle, is a vertical baffle with a small aperture at the top. An incomplete cast copper alloy Post Medieval buckle, c. 1600-1720 AD. The frame is a double loop sub-oval buckle with rounded ends and inward projecting knops at the outer edges. A light V-shaped incised decoration is visible at either end of the narrowed strap bar and a single incised line at the outer edges. The reverse face is flat and undecorated. The pin is missing. The frame measures 31.99 mm long, 17.98 mm wide at the strap bar, 2.25 mm thick and weighs 2.94 grams. Cf. Whitehead 2003, p71.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Post Medieval buckle, c. 1575-1700 AD. The remains consist of a double loop asymmetrical buckle from with lobed knops on the external corners of the rectangular loop, at either end of the strap bar and at two symmetrical points on the outer edge of the rounded loop. It has a narrowed strap bar; the pin is missing. The condition of the metal surface is very poor, with a large degree of corrosion and uneven green and orange-red colouration. An incomplete cast copper alloy Post Medieval buckle, c. 1620-1680 AD. The remains of the buckle consists of a double loop trapezoidal buckle frame. The frame is decorated with a bifid narrow end with ovoid knops on the corners of the frame; the other is a quatrefoil wide end with large lobed knops on the end of winged extensions. A narrowed strap bar and the interior edge of the short end of the frame exhibits a large degree of iron corrosion, suggesting that the missing pin was composed of iron. A complete and slightly damaged Post-Medieval copper alloy spherical animal 'crotal' bell. The suspension loop at the top has a rectangular and flat cross-section. The upper and lower hemispheres are divided equally by a horizontal circumferential joining rib. Two holes in the lower hemisphere are joined by a split. Cast copper alloy crotal bell, or closed rumbler bell, spherical in shape with a central mid rib that runs around the circumference of the bell at its widest point, which is 53 mm in diameter, where the two hemispheres have been soldered together. The top hemisphere of the bell has two larger sound holes and two smaller rivet holes which would have held the cast suspension loop, now lost, to the body of the bell. Two copper alloy spoon handle terminals of the baluster knop type. The terminals are similar in design. Both start with a small knop in the centre of a disk with a slightly convex top and base. Below the disk the terminals narrow then slightly expand to an oval knop below which is a narrow collar.
