An incomplete, damaged and misshapen post-Medieval to Modern cast copper-alloy 'hawking' whistle (c. 1700-c. 1900 AD). The main body of the whistle is hollow and tubular in cross-section with a semi-circular sound hole at the top. Between the sound hole and the mouth-piece is a narrow collar and level with the collar, on the inside of the whistle, is a vertical baffle with a small aperture at the top. A cast copper-alloy furniture drop-handle of probable 18th century date (c. 1700-c. 1800 AD). This complete handle has a symmetrical open frame with cusped sides and base. It has a suspension loop at the top which is divided from the frame by a collar. The frame has traces of moulded decoration on both faces. A fragment of a post-Medieval openwork buckle frame (c. 1720-c. 1790 AD). The fragment is moulded at the front and flat at the rear. At the front it is in the form of a flower head with six evenly spaced pellets representing petals with a similar pellet at the centre. Two small protrusions are portions of openwork. At the front it has a raised design which is probably a standing figure. A legend around the figure is very worn and illegible. It has the remains of a buff patina on both faces.
