A Roman cast copper alloy circular mount or stud in the form of a lion's head facing forward. The stud has the remains of an iron fitting in its hollow back. The front has additional radiating grooves to represent the mane and has three small pits for the eyes and nose. Mounts such as this are frequently found and are thought to have decorated boxes and furniture.

Medival? mount in copper alloy. The object is triangular in shape with rounded edges. It has a covex section and is decorated with tapering ridge down the middle which is flanked by three diagonal ridges. The right side of the upper straight edge has a rectangular sectioned bar emerging from it. This bar runs vertically for about 10mm before bending. The left side has a small protrudsion which is semi cirular in shape and section. Next to that is the base of a rectangular sectioned bar, which may have joined up with the other bar. Copper alloy mount. Cast six-pointed star, slightly concavo-convex at its centre. The 'points' of the star are actually curvilinear, each resembling a bell or petal with a knop at its narrow end. A ragged central sub-rectangular hole of length 6.4mm appears to indicate where the object was fastened, and roughly removed. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1600-1800. Length: 30.7mm, Width: 27.1mm, Thickness: 1.2mm, Weight: 4.01gms.

An irregular section of cast copper alloy mount, most probably the decorative tip of a strap plate from a box or piece of furniture dated to the later medieval period (1200-1500 AD). The plate is broadly sub-rectangular with a lis-shaped terminal ; in cross section the plate is D shaped. A complete post-medieval copper alloy enamelled mount for a leather strap or harness. The front of the mount has a domed surface with a near-flawless yellow enamel background which sits in the recesses of the decoration. A five-petalled flower is centrally placed on the top of the convex mount. The reverse shows signs of iron corrosion products around the rivets, which may also be seen at the front. The object is in fair condition with corrosion products on both the front and reverse sides. A complete post- medieval cast copper-alloy mount. It is circular and covex in profile. The surface is textured and unknown if it was deliberate or an effect of the burial environment. The reverse retains one curved, perforated rivet. It is in fair condition and has corrosion products covering most of the surface, but all parts appear to be intact. It is 25.5 mm in diameter, 2.27 mm thick and weighs 8.02 g.

The front surface is smooth and undecorated. The reverse is recessed and retains part of each rivet, although these appear broken. It is in fair condition and has some surface corrosion products. It is believed to date from circa 1600-1800. The mount is 18.64 mm long, 24.65 mm wide, 2.53 thick and weighs 6.61 g.

An incomplete post-medieval cast copper alloy mount. It is oval in shape and convex in profile. The front is undecorated although there are many scratches, and the reverse retains 4 rivets. 2 of the rivets have been worn down, and the other 2 are folded over. The mount is in good condition with very little surface corrosion present. It is believed to date from circa 1600-1800. A similar mount may be found on the database NLM-244C14. This mount is 40 mm long, 50.98 mm wide, 3.05 mm thick and weighs 29.21 g.

One end has a straight edge and has been angled at about 45 degrees from the rest of the mount and is also slightly wider. The sides are cocave, and end in two rounded projetions. The mount appears undecorated and may have iron surface corrosion. The reverse has a loop for attachment. The condition is good with limited surface corrosion. It is thought to be post-medieval in date. This mount is 26.87 mm long, 22.52 mm wide, 1.64 mm thick and weighs 7 g.

The reverse retains small portions of 5 rivets. The mount is in fair condition and is covered over most of the surface with corrosion products. The edges also appear to have been damaged. This mount is dated to circa 1600-1800. The mount is 38.16 mm long, 49.9 mm wide, 3.97 mm thick and weighs 24.62 g.

To either side of the aperture are single circular rivet holes. The front face of the mount has incised decoration comprising zig-zag or diagonal grooves radiating around the central aperture, possibly forming a star-shaped motif, but this is uncertain due to the preservation of the object. A sheet copper-alloy mount of Medieval date. It is circular in form with slightly concave back face and central circular rivet hole. The front face has moulded decoration formed from three concentric rings surrounding the central aperture, the middle one of which is beaded. The entire object measures 22.38mm in diameter, 3.25mm in thickness/height, and 1.11g in weight. This is a disc shaped mount of Medieval date similar to examples from London (Egan and Pricthard, 1991: nos. 927-929). It is of 14th century AD date.

An incomplete copper-alloy bar mount of probable medieval date. The mount is likely to have been a fitting from either a box or a book. The mount is 'T' shaped in plan, with a double loop at the complete end, presumably rivet holes for attachment. The other end is broken. The mount is decorated with a symmetrical moulded design incorporating mirrored fleur-de-lis with lozenges in between. The surface patina of most of the mount is missing and it has a purple brown appearance, although fine traces of a possible gilded surface remain. Length 49.9 mm, width 18.6 mm, weight 1.0 gram.
