Cast copper alloy mount dating to the Early-Medieval period. The object is 'tongue' shaped in plan with a sub-rectangular plate which curves and narrows into a rectangular sectioned projection with a sub-triangular terminal. The object is decorated with a moulded beaded border within which is a plate decorated with worn interlace. At the point of the object and at each side of the rectangular end is a single copper alloy rivet for attachment. The reverse of the object is undecorated and is recessed. It has a mid-green patina and is worn. The object is complete.

Cast copper-alloy multifoil mount dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is circular in plan and D-shaped in cross-section with an undulating edge. The central boss is undecorated and surrounded by a moulded ridge. The undulating edge of the object is decorated with raised moulded ridges. On the rear of the object are the remains of two projecting lugs for attachment. The object has a mid green patina and the remains of gilding can be seen. The object can be dated from the 16th-17th century.

Cast copper alloy mount dating to the Medieval period. The object is sub-trapezoidal in plan and flat. The outer face is decorated with a central raised triangle, within another triangle. Curved ridges radiate out from either side within a square at the base of which are two spirals divided by a raised oval. This forms a possible zoomorphic design. Cast copper alloy mount dating to the Medieval period. The object is lozenge shaped in plan and flat. Projecting from the centre of the reverse is an integral circular sectioned lug for attachment. The outer face of the object is decorated with a central cross. Surrounding the cross the object is decorated with toffee brown enamel with traces of green enamel. The object has a mid-brown patina and is in good condition.

Cast copper alloy mount. The object consists of a lozenge-shaped body, each end of which expands to form a stylised fleur-de-lis. This is formed at each end from an oval pierced with two circular holes; projecting from the centre of each oval is a triangular knop which terminates with a rounded point. The central lozenge is decorated with a single incised groove which borders the object. On the hollowed reverse of the object are two sub-rectangular spikes for attachment. The object has a dark brown patina and is in good condition. Compare CORN-169AA4, which is dated to the 17th century.

Cast copper alloy terminal mount possibly dating to the Roman period, (43-410AD). The object is sub-rectangular in cross-section. At one end the object terminates with a pyramidal knop. Below this the object tapers to the opposite end. The object is decorated with six rectangular collars which are irregularly spaced. Projecting from the base of the object is a thin semi-circular projection. The object has a mid-green patina.

Cast copper alloy cruciform mount dating to the Post-Medieval period, (1500-1700). The object is cruciform in plan and oval in cross-section. Each arm of the cross terminates with an oval knop. Below the lower knop the object expands outwards slightly before narrowing to form a circular sectioned projection possibly for attachment. The object has been silvered or tinned.

Cast copper alloy bar mount dating to the Medieval period. The object is sub-rectangular in plan and D-shaped in cross-section. At each end of the bar is a small circular perforation for attachment. The bar tapers into a thin rectangular strip which curves backwards and would have formed a hook on which a pendant was probably secured. The object has a dark green patina. A similar example is no.45, p33, Cuddeford, (1994).

Cast copper alloy bar mount probably from a casket or box, dating to the Medieval period, c.1350-1400. The object is hemispherical in cross-section. Each end of the object has a transverse collar after which the mount expands forming an oval terminal with a projecting elongated oval knop. Each oval has a circular perforation for attachment. One end of the object is broken. The object has a dark brown patina. The remains of gilding can be seen on the broken terminal. Similar examples can be found in Read, (2001), p23-24. A similar example which can be found on the database is IOW-1BC924.

Cast copper alloy probable mount in the form of a seahorse. The object is irregular in plan and D-shaped in cross-section. The head of the seahorse is facing left. The characteristics of the animal are moulded with a long snout, open eye and scales. The body of the animal curves around its head, tapering towards the tail. The tail curves backwards and joins the back of the animal. The reverse of the object is flat. The object has a light brown patina and is in good condition. There is no evidence of attachment. The edges of the object have been damaged and broken.

Cast copper alloy mount dating to the Post-Medieval period, (1500-1700). The mount takes the form of a fleur-de-lis, with two curved plumes either side of a vertical central plume. A triple band of moulded grooves and ridges separates the plumes from the lower part of the mount, which has a projecting circular loop. On the reverse of the object are four pointed lugs for attachment, two on the central plume and one on each side plume. All of the lugs have been flattened against the object. The object has a patchy mid-green patina.

The object has an oval sectioned horn on one side of the head; the other has broken at the base. Below the horns are two projecting oval ears. The eyes and nose consist of raised moulded ridges. Expanding from the nostrils is an incomplete circular sectioned loop. At the top of the head is an integral transverse attachment loop. The object has a patchy dark green patina.
