Both cutting edges are worn and incomplete and the perpendicular edges to these are broken so that the original length of the blade is unknown as well as the position of this fragment along it, though it is at the end that tapers towards the tip, as any raised area has flattened out in section. The smooth dark green patina survives better on one face of the blade than the other, which has an uneven surface of raised areas of corrosion product.
The lozenge-shaped section of the blade without a defined central mid-rib suggests that this might be part of a sword from the Late Wilburton or Ewart Park phases of the Late Bronze Age, c.1140-800 BC.
Needham &amp; Rohl (1998) illustrate two similar lozenge-shaped sections of Ewart Park swords on page 135, Fig.37, Nos.386-7.
Pearce (1983) illustrates similar sections from a Ewart Park and a Late Wilburton sword, from Cranborne in Dorset, on page 665, Plate 104, Nos.365-6. </description><fourFigureLon>-4.672329</fourFigureLon><fourFigure>SX1054</fourFigure></result><result><rulerName>Radiate (Barbarous)</rulerName><denominationName>Radiate (antoninianus)</denominationName><district>FOREST HEATH</district><objecttype>COIN</objecttype><county>SUFFOLK</county><created>2012-04-30T22:32:34Z</created><regionName>EAST</regionName><diameter>13.51</diameter><fromdate>275</fromdate><materialTerm>Copper alloy</materialTerm><axis>9</axis><creator>Andrew Brown</creator><identifier>Andrew Brown</identifier><obverseDescription>Radiate bust right</obverseDescription><id>500783</id><knownas>Mildenhall</knownas><old_findID>SF-F13018</old_findID><workflow>4</workflow><parish>Restricted Access</parish><weight>0.88</weight><updated>2012-05-01T14:37:00Z</updated><reverseLegend>Illegible</reverseLegend><quantity>1</quantity><todate>285</todate><broadperiod>ROMAN</broadperiod><fourFigureLat>52.356622</fourFigureLat><reverseDescription>Uncertain female figure standing left holding cornucopiae</reverseDescription><description> A copper-alloy Roman barbarous radiate, c.275-285 AD. The body of the vessel curves downwards slightly to suggest a reasonably deep straight-sided bowl or a deep straight-sided everted rim, as seen on cauldrons, and the curvature of the rim suggests a large diameter of about 320 mm. The bevelled rim itself is 4.7 mm thick which then tapers to the body which is 4 mm thick.
Egan (2005) illustrates a similar example of a bowl fragment with a flared rim and straight-sided body on page 99, Fig.85, No.444, which is dated from c.1550-1600.
Ottaway and Rogers (2002) illustrate a similar fragment of a cooking vessel with an internally bevelled rim on page 2810, Fig.1394, No.14197, which is dated from the mid 15th century to the early 17th century.
Butler &amp; Green (2003) illustrate cauldrons with internally bevelled rims on page 119, No.119, which is dated from the 17th century, and on page 142, No.145, which is dated to c.1500. </description><fourFigureLon>-5.03217</fourFigureLon><fourFigure>SW8445</fourFigure></result><result><rulerName>House of Theodosius</rulerName><denominationName>Nummus (AE 1 - AE 4)</denominationName><district>FOREST HEATH</district><objecttype>COIN</objecttype><county>SUFFOLK</county><created>2012-04-30T21:58:41Z</created><regionName>EAST</regionName><diameter>13.22</diameter><fromdate>388</fromdate><materialTerm>Copper alloy</materialTerm><axis>6</axis><creator>Andrew Brown</creator><identifier>Andrew Brown</identifier><obverseDescription>Diademed and draped bust right</obverseDescription><id>500775</id><knownas>Mildenhall</knownas><old_findID>SF-F0B0E7</old_findID><workflow>4</workflow><parish>Restricted Access</parish><weight>0.67</weight><mintmark>-//[]</mintmark><reverseType>VICTORIA AVGGG</reverseType><updated>2012-05-01T14:40:00Z</updated><reverseLegend>VICTOR-[IA AVGGG]</reverseLegend><quantity>1</quantity><todate>395</todate><broadperiod>ROMAN</broadperiod><fourFigureLat>52.356622</fourFigureLat><reverseDescription>Victory advancing left holding wreath and palm</reverseDescription><description> A copper-alloy Roman nummus of the House of Theodosius, c.388-395 AD.
