An elaborate gilt copper-alloy buckle dating to the medieval period. The frame is D-shaped in plan and has a narrowed and offset bar with a large knop on each end. The lip contains two large comma-shaped mouldings terminating with two raised knops. The frame contains curved recessed mouldings.

An incomplete copper alloy roman military buckle. Only a part of the plate has been preserved. The buckle frame is probably oval, with the terminals slightly curving back in on themselves. The bar is decorated with a moulded transverse line. A rivet hole and the remains of another are preserved at each corner of the bar. The pin location is still perceptible.

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle plate dating to the medieval period, circa 1100-1300. The plate is rectangular in plan though now distorted through damage. The plate comprises two sheets of metal, one a back-plate and the other an openwork front-plate. The openwork decoration is unclear but perhaps represents highlights a quadruped. A band of hatched metal runs along one short-edge. One rivet remains. The surface has been gilded.

A cast copper alloy object, either a buckle or strap end, dating from the medieval period. The object consists of a rectangular plate, tapered towards the top, with the remains of a loop at the terminal. Two iron rivets are visible at the bottom right and left of the image. The object is in fair condition with a surface patina of dark brown-green. Most of the loop and part of the plate have broken away and been lost.
