A cast copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval date. It is a Meols type C, with rectangular frame that has an expanded outer edge and offset and narrowed rectangular bar. The outer edge is trapezoidal in section with transverse grooves at top and bottom of the front face and a pin rest formed from three transverse grooves. It has two vertical ridges on the outer edges of each side of the frame. The buckle measures 22.46mm in width, 17.55mm in length, 2.82mm in thickness and 3.30g in weight. It is of Medieval date, c.14th century AD.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy buckle plate of Medieval date. It is missing the frame end and any lower plate that may have originally existed due to old breaks. The plate is flat, rectangular in form with slightly bevelled edges. It has rectangular pin slot and frame recesses, with a single circular rivet hole at the centre of the attachment end. The plate measures 25.10mm in length, 12.77mm in width, 0.94mm in thickness and 1.29g in weight. It is of probable Medieval date, c.13th-15th centuries AD.

A cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame of Post-Medieval date. It has D-shaped with steep sides that are triangular in section, separated by a narrow rectangular bar. The sides of the frame where loops and bar meet have three vertical grooves, with possible additional grooves on the outer edge of one of the frames. The opposite outer edge has a central triangular projection with moulded transverse ridges. All surfaces have the remains of a dark brown patina that is worn and pitted in places. A cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame of Post-Medieval date. It has D-shaped frames separated at the centre by an integrally cast rectangular bar. The outer edges of the frames are expanded and have multiple moulded transverse ridgs that lead to a series of five triangular projections evenly spaced on each outer edge. Traces of iron corrosion on one frame indicate the presence of a now missing iron pin. The surfaces are extremely encrusted, but traces opf gilding can be seen as well as a dark green patination. A copper alloy Medieval buckle frame. It is an oval frame which is faceted, and has an ornate outside edge with two knops outlined by grooves to either side of a pin notch. The bar is offset and narrowed, with knops to top and bottom. The pin is wrapped around the bar and moves freely. It tapers to a sharp point. The buckle frame measures 17.41mm in length, 24.86mm in width and weighs 3.14g. The pin is a narrow rectangular strip, 2.25mm in width and 14.9mm in length excluding the loop around the bar.

A copper alloy Medieval buckle frame and plate. The frame is D-shaped and faceted, with the bar offset and narrowed, with thickened knops to top and bottom. A shield-shaped plate is attached to the bar, and is recessed to top and bottom to accommodate the knops on the bar. There is a pin-slot, but the pin is now missing.
