A complete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy spherical animal 'crotal' bell (1600-1800 AD). The sub-rectangular suspension loop at the top is 10.76mm high, 12.22mm wide and 4.97mm thick and has a sub-circular perforation. The upper and lower hemispheres are divided equally by a horizontal circumferential joining rib. At either side of the suspension loop, about half way down the side of the upper hemisphere, is a circular sound hole. These measure about 3.50mm in diameter. A fragment of a Medieval to Post-Medieval cast copper-alloy handle from a cauldron (c. 1250-c. 1650 AD). The handle was originally L-shaped and has a break close to the bend. The handle is oval in cross-section throughout it length with a small amount of the vessel rim remaining at the complete end where it is attached immediately below the rim. The fragment is corroded and has a drab green patina with small areas of sooting. The breaks are old. This 'L'-shaped cauldron lug is similar to one illustrated in Butler et. al. (2009, 5; ref. 3a). An incomplete and misshapen post-Medieval cast copper-alloy mount (c. 1600-c. 1700 AD). The body of the mount is flat and symmetrical. It has a sub-rectangular terminal at each which seems to have had a decorative transverse groove. It has a sub-square centre divided from the terminals by semi-circular cut outs at each side. The rear face has two integral tapering spikes, sub-rectangular in cross-section. This mount has a green patina with traces of tinning at the front. It is related to a hooked mount illustrated in Read (2008: 217, ref: 781). 33.11 x 10.63 x 1.69mm. Weight: 2.77g.

A complete post-Medieval sheet lead or lead-alloy whirligig or buzz disc/wheel of possible 17th to 18th century date. The toy consists of a disc with a serrated outer edge and two string holes at the centre. All the serrations have been crudely made, possibly by chopping or shearing. On one face the string holes are burred over. The object is slightly misshapen and has traces of a buff patina. Diameter: 41.92mm; thickness: 4.34mm. Weight: 28.58g. A complete post-Medieval to Modern cast lead or lead alloy circular double-sided token (c. 1500-c. 1850 AD). The token has raised initial letters: T C with pellets on one side. The other side has a raised 'compass drawn' flower head. 23.14 x 20.26mm. Weight: 6.74g. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally, they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with initials are thought to date c. 1500-1850 AD.

An incomplete post-Medieval to Modern sheet silver clog clasp (1700-1900 AD). The clasp is sub-rectangular in plan and curved in side profile. At one end it has a rectangular hook and at the opposite end the 'anchor'-shaped hook is missing. Inscribed decoration at the front consists of a flower within a border which follows the outline shape. 20.07 x 14.62 x 0.80mm. Weight: 1.86g. 18th and 19th century clog clasps have been published (Bailey 1992: 13-17).

A Medieval cast copper-alloy composite strap-end (c. 1270-c. 1400 AD). This undecorated strap-end consists of three main elements, a front and back plate and a spacer. The sheet plates are sub-rectangular in plan and have a trefoil knop at the terminal end. Between the knop and the sheets there is a small ridge at either side. An incomplete Modern lead-alloy toy gun (c. 1850-c. 1920 AD). The stock survives and is sub-triangular in plan, pointed-oval in cross-section and has an open-ended butt. Both sides are similarly decorated with raised scrolling flowers and 'cross-hatching'. Toy guns were popular from the late 17th century and this example probably dates c. 1850-c. 1920. This object is largely coated with a buff patina. There is a break at the larger end. 35.29 x 16.42 x 8.72mm. Weight: 12.06g.
