A probable contemporary copy of a Roman denarius of Geta (AD 209-12), reverse: PONTIF TR P VIII COS II around Mars, naked standing left, right foot on helmet, holding branch and reversed spear. Measures 16-17mm, weighs 2.29g, die axis 6, worn with serious edge damage. This appears to be a cast forgery, plated on copper alloy. The obverse is of Geta, the reverse as above Caracalla 80.
