A late Saxon, cast, copper-alloy disc brooch with backward-looking beast within a border of 28 pellets (this is the most frequently recorded number of pellets on a brooch of this type). The beast has an upturned tail and open jaws. It has no mane as many other brooches of this type do. There is a ring-and-dot eye, a single ring-and-dot on the beast's breast and one on it's haunches. An incomplete Early Medieval copper alloy terminal from a bridle link or cheek piece. The terminal is comprised of a sub-oval loop with three knops projecting from the outside edge. One of the knops is opposite where the broken attachment joins the oval terminal loop and the other two are diametrically opposed at 90 degrees to this. A cast copper alloy fragment of an object, possibly an Early Medieval Anglo-Saxon small long brooch, c. 6th century AD. The fragment is in very poor condition, therefore a positive identification is impossible. However, the small portion that remains suggests that it comprised a portion of the square brooch head, lightly curved neck and body. The cross-section at the 'head' is relatively flat, whereas the faceting on the body suggests a sub-triangular cross-section. No traces of the pin mechanism survive. A cast copper alloy biconical pin with a flat top, possibly Early Medieval in date. The head is 8.2mm in diameter and has a small collar and short length of the pin remains. The pin tapers fom the collar to a mimimum diameter of 2.8mm. The pin is bent towards the broken end which likely occured when the pin fractured in antiquity. A complete cast metal mount in the form of an animal's head. It is D-shaped in cross-section, with a flat base and a domed upper surface forming the head. The head is pear-shaped with a blunt point representing the muzzle. Above this are two engraved drop-shaped eyes with their tapering point towards the muzzle. An incomplete late Early-Medieval penannular finger-ring, dating to c.850-1066 AD. The ring has been opened out a little in antiquity to form an oval; it has a lozenge-shaped cross-section. The tip of one end is missing, while the other tapers to a point. Its internal diameter measures approximately 20 x 25mm in its present condition.The ring's circumference measures 62.0mm in length, and the ring has a thickness of 2.9mm. It weighs 3.2g. The surviving part is in good condition and has a green patina. Similar examples may be seen on the PAS database at SF-50DB52 and KENT-421D24.

An incomplete, cast copper-alloy pin, probably dating to the Middle Anglo-Saxon period (AD 700 to 900). The pin has a biconical or globular head and is undecorated. There is a small circumferential collar which measures 2.3mm in diameter at the junction between head and stem . The incomplete stem is circular in cross section and is slightly bent. The break has occurred in antiquity. Existing metal work is in good condition, and measures 21.7mm in length, diameter of head 7.9mm, and weight 2.5g.

A complete early Anglo-Saxon gilded copper alloy mount, probably from horse harness. A small, thin, sub-rectangular mount with a triple-strand interlace design on one surface, partly obscured by dark corrosion. On its reverse are the remains of two integral circular-section attachment lugs, one above the other. The object measures 16.4mm in length, is a maximum of 9.1mm wide, has a thickness of 1.3mm ,and weighs 1.3g. The long edge curve and taper slightly. Compare LANCUM-72AF71 and GLO-878818. Probably late 6th or early 7th century.
