An incomplete Anglo-Saxon copper-alloy mount, triangular in shape and flat in profile, decorated with a gilded triple-strand interlace pattern and on an iron backing. There is evidence of perforation near the pointed end of the mount, and a possible lug near the wide end. The mount is in good condition but the reverse is covered in iron corrosion products. The mount is 32.7 mm long, 50.99 mm wide, 6.92 mm thick and weighs 21.71 g. Kevin Leahy suggests that this a piece of Pressblech foil, attached to iron. An Anglo-Saxon strap-end of Thomas type A. The strap-end is decorated with an incised zoomorphic decoration executed in an angular style, consisting of a crouched quadruped. The attachment end is misisng, as is part of the incised decoration. The terminal is in the form of an animal-head. Facets and incised lines define the ears, eye-brows and nostrils. (Leahy, K. 2000. An Anglo-Saxon strap-end of Thomas type A. The strap-end is elongated and decorated with a crude linear decoration on the body suggestive of a 'cottage-industry' product. The attachment end is missing. The body is decorated with a hatched rectangular panel with a row of crudely incised crescents to either side. The terminal is in the form of an abstract animal-head and represented by four incised crescents. Silvering is visible on the reverse. A ninth-century date is likely for this item. A fragment of a saxon stirrup. Lozenge shaped in section at one break, and triangular in section at the opposite break, the object has an approximate 50drgree angle return. the Upper faces of the truiangular sectioned 'arm' has gilding, and one face has three rectangular sunken cells along the edge. The object has a reddish-brown patina typical of saxon period copper alloy. .

A complete cast lead alloy spindle whorl, possibly dating from the Early Medieval period. It is circular in plan with straight sides making is rectangular in section. The central perforation has a diameter of 9mm and there is no internal cavity in the wall of the perforation. One face is decorated with moulded raised ribs in groups of three forming fan like motifs, radiating from the perforation to the outside edge.
