A fragment of a gold necklace or pendant of Post-medieval date. It is spherical in form, although it is flattened on one side and the is broken towards the middle, most likely due to post-depositional damage. It has a narrow collar at the top of the ball which then flares into a flat top which has an integrally cast circular pendant loop which is flat in section. The spherical surface is decorated with a series of lines running vertically down the surface. It measures 9.72mm in diameter, 12.93mm in surviving height and weighs 0.68g.

Description: A complete gold finger ring made of a flattened band engraved on the exterior with a French inscription in lower-case gothic or 'black-letter' script. Bipartite composite ring, penannular, comprising two solid gold rods possibly soldered together. Maximum external diameter 15mm; maximum internal diameter 8.5mm; breadth 7mm; width of gap 4mm; weight 9.31 grams.
