A copper alloy Early Medieval Strap end with niello inlay. The underside is plain but the top is decorated longitudinally with multiple curved lines above the zoomorphic terminal, which separates the terminal from the central panel; a similar design is repeated between the split attachment end and the central panel. The central panel appears to contain inlaid niello decoration in the form of four spirals. Probably Thomas Type A, c. 9th to 10th century AD.

Cast copper alloy sword belt bar mount with a suspension loop and three flat square segments, each having cross hatching on the upper face, on either side of recessed sections with central flattened ribs that are semi-circular in section. One of the square segments has an exant copper alloy rivet with a round head still in its central rivet hole.
