A complete lead alloy bag seal of Modern date (AD 1800-1950). The seal is comprised of a single disk which is perforated by a hole running across its diameter. The holes would have been for wire or textile ligatures which were used to secure a bag. The seal is stamped with text on both sides which gives a probable Russian origin to the seal. A complete lead harness pendant of Medieval date (AD 1066-1500). The harness pendant is of cruciform type with each of the four arms being D-shaped in section and rectangular in plan. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The harness pendant has an integral suspension loop at the top turned through 90° to the plane of the main body, the perforation is circular shaped. The domed quatrefoil mount is formed of a thick sheet moulded into a convex form with an engraved cross across the centre resulting in four domed petal. The reverse is undecorated with one worn lug where a hinged pin would have been affixed. The central plate is square in plan, the edges are marked by incised lines but is otherwise undecorated. A complete cast copper alloy harness pendant of medieval date. The pendant is square in shape with rounded edges and corners and an integrally cast centred suspension loop projecting from one long edge. Due to the degree of wear no decorative elements can be determined however some small patches of gilding still remain on the front surface. The metal has a mid greenish-brown patina and is very worn.
