A flint tool, possibly an chisel or scraper. The object is roughly triangular in plan and in cross-section, with flakes taken off both dorsal and ventral surfaces. The fragment is from the top end however the tip is missing. The butt is gentley curved and looks as if it could be original rather than reworking of a break, which would make the axe rather small. The flint is Lincolnshire Wolds flint, being mid-grey in colour with patches of iron staining. The finder suggests a Palaeolithic date for this piece, though a later prehistoric date is not unlikely.

A worn, rolled and damaged lithic implement, identified as a Palaeolithic flint axe by the finder. The condition of the object, along with the fact that it is not truly bifacial, makes this identification questionable. The axe is roughly oval is plan and in cross-section, with flakes taken off both dorsal and ventral surfaces. There is some damage around the edge exposing a fresh mid-grey coloured flint. The surface has a reddish-brown patina.

Knapped flint implement. In shape and forming technique it appears similar Mesolithic - Early Neolithic picks although it is much smaller. It is also similar to the Mesolithic tooks known as fabricators and it was probably used to dig small holes or to work wood. It is 67.4mm long, 25.3mm wide, 16.3mm thick and weighs 29.7 grams. The implement was produced from a much larger flake that has been extensively reworked, possibly several times.
