An incomplete fragment of a late Bronze Age cast copper alloy (bronze) socketed axe / axehead, dated to the period 1150-750 BC. The fragment consists of a much worn and abraded blade tip / cutting edge. The fragment is broadly rectangular in plan; triangular in profile and has an irregular sub-rectangular cross section. Across the broken edge are the remains of an oval socket ; the side walls are uneven with one face being much thinner than the other. In profile the socket is V shaped. Mintmark: -//RSR; commonly attributed to London, but to be studied further. RIC V, pt 2, p. 512, no. 571. BNJ 2013 Coin Register p. 285, no. 49. Silver denarii of Carausius are rare, but the Wolf and Twins type is one of the most common reverses. This coin is included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.

Medieval dagger guard made from copper alloy, pointed-oval in shape and curved or crescentic in side view; the cross-section is sub-rectangular. The length is 61mm, the width is 18 mm in the middle and 7 mm at the ends. The weight is 55.66g. The guard curves gently downwards and has a flat central surface with two chamfered long edges. There is a small rectangular hole in the centre of the flat surface and its underside is hollow. There are some deep scratches on the sides of the guard, suggesting a lot of use. Compare HAMP-1D5214, which has been given an early post-medieval date.
