A Post Medieval lead alloy small bowl, probably a salt, probably dating to the 17th century. The bowl has a rounded base, curved walls and a rim which has been rolled back on itself. The bowl has tripod feet soldered onto the body. One of these is missing and there is the corresponding section of the wall missing as well. The rim is decorated with diagonal lines creating a twisted rope effect. The feet are also decorated with a scallop shell at the point of attachment with the bowl and there is some decorative moulding on the base of the foot. There are no traces of maker's mark…

A group of lead metal working debris found in a pit with fourteen iron nails (WILT-E2A7F2), Roman pottery (WILT-E232C8, WILT-E19E94) and coins (WILT-200EF8, WILT-203724 and fragment WILT-2057C7 which is possibly a Roman coin),
a fragment of Roman spoon (WILT-250BB8) and copper alloy metal working debris (WILT-254207).
The largest piece of lead is relatively flat on one side, the other being convex (as though formed in a dip or vessel), and measures 170x131x35mm. Weighs c.2kg.

Loop part of a two part cast copper alloy dress fastener of Post-Medieval, seventeenth century date (AD 1600 - AD 1700). The fastener is flat and largely sub-oval in plan with an integral rectangular loop at one end separated from the main plate by slightly widened collar defined by indented lines to either side. The loop is broken with the outer side missing. An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy buckle (c. 1660-c. 1720 AD).
The pin and chape are missing. The spidle is largely mising.
This buckle frame is rectangular in plan with rounded corners and curved in side profile. It is moulded at the front and largely bevelled at the rear. At the front it is stepped around the outside edge. Each outer edge has a small projection, the fronts of which have a pair of ring-and-dot motifs. Roman Brooch: An incomplete cast copper alloy and enamel early Roman dragonesque brooch. The brooch is a S-shaped plate; both terminals and the pin are missing. The plate is decorated with a central roundel with a quatrefoil at the centre and a raised circular rim. Between the rim and arms of the quatrefoil are enamel cells of white/pale blue and green. Both above and below this are further curvilinear raised cells with enamel inlay of red and more of the white/pale blue.
Brooches of this type are dated AD 75-175.

Three copper-alloy Roman coins, which are stuck together with iron corrosion products. An unidentified object which comprises a flat circular plate which tapers to form two sub-rectangular tabls is sandwiched between two of the coins. One of the tabs is bent around one of the coins.
The coins comprise: one second century sestertius and two first to second century dupondii or asses.
