A Post Medieval gold finger ring. The finger ring is circular in plan, with a little distortion in shape, and D-shaped cross-section although there is a slight curve to the internal surface which forms the upright of the D. The external surface is plain with no decoration nor inscription. There is an inscription on the internal surface. The finger ring is very worn and the upper section of the inscription is worn away. The inscription appears to comprise one word "PORR" or "PURR".

An Iron Age early uninscribed British B 'Chute' type gold Durotrigian stater, measuring 17-18mm, weighing 6.19g, reverse dished, some wear.

Coins of this type were produced in the Dorset-Wiltshire-Isle of Wight area in around 80-60 BC. During the late Iron Age this area is thought to have been inhabited by a people known as the Durotriges.

A Medieval gold figurine of a saint, dating 15th - early 16th century. This figurine has been cast three-dimensionally showing a standing figure in long robes with a beard and a nimbus decorated with radiating lines. The figure is holding a staff with a cross terminal in his left hand and his right hand is raised to just below his beard. On the figure's back there are two raised sections, possibly wings, which project from the top of the shoulders and flow down till level with the lowered hand. Description A crumpled and torn fragment of sheet gold with engraved geometric decoration comprising three bands of double zigzags separated by two plain zones; the zones are each bounded by three longitudinal engraved lines and the edges by four. The decoration is well executed. Two straight edges are present and these appear to be parallel.

Gold posy ring. Cast band of plano-convex section. The display side bears diagonally nicked borders conferring a cabled effect to the outer edge of the band, an inner border of double incised lines around a circumferential series of sub-rectangular panels, interspersed with three oval panels. A damaged composite ring made from a thin sheet of gold probably formed around two copper alloy penannular rings, now corroded away. Both terminals are broken and distorted.
Dimensions:
Diameter: 13.9mm; Width: 5.7mm; Thickness: 2.9mm; Weight 1.93g.
Composition:
Non-destructive X-ray fluorescence analysis of the surface of a composite ring from Willerby, Yorkshire, indicated a gold content of approximately 71-74%, a silver content of approximately 18-21% with at least7% copper. The object weighs 1.93 grams.

Description
A medieval gold finger-ring, the hoop in the form of a flattened band, inscribed * all : T : ioe : : in : T : god: ('all joy in god'). The two T letters probably signify the Tau cross, the symbol of St Anthony, who was thought to protect against St Anthony's fire, or holy fire, a form of ergot poisoning.

A medieval finger-ring, the wire hoop slightly distorted, with an irregular semicircular bezel containing a dark red stone (probably a garnet).
The ring is gold and dates from the late twelfth or the thirteenth century. Consequently, in terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.

Description: Post-Medieval gold posy ring dating to between c. 1682-1709 AD. Plain gold ring, thin D-shaped band inscribed inside in lower case: love as I or else I dye with maker's mark SF in a shield.

Description: A gold finger ring with inverted-pyramidal bezel, missing its inset. Each of the four faces of the bezel is decorated with an incised herringbone pattern, to take enamel. The shoulders and hoop are of D-shaped section, the transition between the two elements being imperceptible. A herringbone pattern extends from either side of the bezel, reaching halfway down the side of the hoop, where it terminates in a cross-shaped incision above a tapering longitudinal groove.
