Early Medieval cast copper alloy strap end. The split end is triangular with a worn break cutting across the two circular rivet holes. The upper surface of the strap end has three transverse grooves just below the triangular attachment end, and a further three grooved just above the rectangular terminal. The surface is worn, and these grooves are just visible. The reverse of the strap end is plain and undecorated. It is rectangular in cross section and in profile. Medieval copper alloy double sheet strap end. There is a circular rivet hole at each end of the strap end, one still contains a circular copper alloy rivet. One sheet has a worn break across the empty rivet hole. The strap end is undecorated. It has an even green patina and the surface is worn. It is 31.16mm long, 10.06mm wide and 3.73mm thick.

An incomplete copper alloy composite strap end of Medieval date (c. AD 1350 ā€“ c. AD 1400). Length 24.3mm, maximum width 14.8mm and 3.0mm thick (between each rivet head). Weight 2.76g. The strap end is formed of two sheet plates of metal that are sub-rectangular in plan. Both plates have the same thickness of about 0.3mm. A cast copper alloy strap end formed from two plates of copper alloy joined by a central copper alloy rivet. The strap end tapers along the length from a maximum width of 8.4mm to 4.6mm. The top plate extends beyond the bottom plate and tapers to 6.02mm. There is a small central knop in line with the rivet on the top plate. The ends of the object are terminated by breaks which are worn. The surface of the metal is worn with a mid green to brown patina. It is medieval to post medieval in date.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Early Medieval Strap End. The tongue-shaped single plate strap end has an incomplete split end attachment with two incomplete rivet holes. Only one plate of the attachment end survives. The front of the Strap End is decorated with Borre Style anthropomorphic en face mask. The strap end is quite bent now and the rounded end is missing. The surviving length is 29.4mm, the width is 18.9mm and the weight is 5.51g.
