Mesolithic flake knapped from light orange-brown stone. The dorsal surface has a central arrise, which then formed into two parallel arrises where another flake has been removed from the surface. The edges are serrated with short, semi-abrupt removals. The distal end has been worked to a point, with abrupt removals on one side, and long removals on the other. The proximal end has a partial hinge fracture, possible where the proximal end of the flake has been used to create trapezoid microliths. There is no bulb of percussion on the ventral surface, however impact ripples extend down it…

Mesolithic worked-out two-platfrom flake core knapped from dark grey flint. The core has two opposing platforms; The primary platfrom has a significant amount of scaring around it. Once this platform became exhausted, the core was turned 180 degrees to form a secondary platform. This secondary platform has several points of percussion on its edge, where the platfrom was prepared. Flakes have been removed from all surfaces of this core, mainly with feathered or stepped terminations, however one side is curved with an overshot termination. Flakes of differing sizes have been removed fro…

Possibly a very crude core of Mesolithic date, knapped from dark grey flint. There is evidence of removals from 90% of the surface, with the remaining area being covered in a natural, cream coloured cortex. There are flaking scars and impact ripples covering the surface of the flint. However, there does not appear to be any evidence of platform preporation thus this could possibly be a natural nodule of flint. It is 73.35mm long, 50.40mm wide, 29.18mm thick and weighs 132 grams.

Mesolithic microlith knapped from brown flint. The microlith is extremely worn on all edges and surfaces. It is sub-rectangular in shape, however the level of retouch and to what extent the edges were retouched is unclear due to the abraded surface thus a sub-classification of microlith type cannot be determined. It is 17.59mm long, 9.07mm wide and 2.62mm thick.

Mesolithic blade or waste flake knapped from mid grey flint. 15-20% of the dorsal surface is covered in natural cortex. There are two parallel ridges along the centre of the dorsal surface. The uncortexed edge has some evidence of narrow, abrupt retouch. There is no bulb of percussion or impact ripples on the ventral surface. The blade is snapped at the distal end. It is 96.92mm long, 31.77mm wide and 11.3mm thick.

Mesolithic blade knapped from light grey stone. 10% of the dorsal surface is covered in natural cortex. The blade has snapped at the distal end. There is some bulbar scaring on the ventral surface at the proximal end. The ventral surface has a central ridge along its length. There are some semi-abrupt removals along the edges of the blade, however some of this could be due to post depositional damage. It is 46.3mm long, 18.82mm wide and 6.23mm thick.

The proximal end has some evidence of platform preporation, and there are some bulbar scars. There is no bulb of percussion. Impact ripples run along the length of the blade. The dorsal surface has two parallel ridges along its length. There is a scar towards the proximal end where a previous flake was not completely removed from the surface. The edges have been semi-retouched with abrupt removals. The surviving section of blade is 40.7mm long, 39.99mm wide and 4.84mm thick.

Mesolithic multiplatform core knapped from light grey-cream flint. Flakes have been removed from all surfaces of the core and there is no natural cortex surviving on the surface. The surface is extremely scared along one edge where knapping of flakes may have been unsuccessful. The surface of the flint is covered in impact ripples where flakes have been removed. There is a small amount of iron staining on the surface of the flint. There is some dull brown patination around the iron staining. The core is 62.92mm long, 59.08mm wide and 40.67mm thick.

Mesolithic single platform blade core knapped from light cream-grey flint. The core has a wide, flat platform with flakes removed from all edges. There is impact scaring around the platform edge where the flakes have been knapped. One of the removed blades or flakes is likely to have had a hinge fracture at the distal end, based on the shape of removal on the core (see reverse photograph). The core is 43.04mm long, and it is 41.17mm by 32.16mm wide.
