Two wide, rectangular-sectioned ovoid loops, interlinked and affixed at one end by a truncated bar. Each loop is decorated with applied twisted gold wires forming a running lozenge pattern with loops at the borders, interspersed with tiny globular gold beads. Of unknown function - perhaps part of an earring or decoration for a hair pin. Stylistically, however, it is consistent with late 19th century jewellery of archaising design.

Gold and Gemstone Finger Ring. Cast gold band widened at the shoulders though narrowed in profile to achieve this, with a bezel comprising a raised central facetted dark blue stone surrounded by eight smaller similar stones. The central stone is retained by eight round-ended spurs which spring from an openwork frame of eight-pointed star form; a further spur projects from each point of the frame to retain each of the smaller stones. Oval, pressed sheet metal, locket front plate, probably 9 carat gold. It has a raised rim with a scalloped internal edge surrounding a central raised trefoil cross motif. There are occasional small stones possibly garnets arranged along the arms of the cross and circular depressions where other stones were originally seated. An undiagnostic rod of twisted gold formed from at least two strands of uniform thickness, bent into an elliptical, penannular shape . Both terminals are spatulate, having been roughly flattened. The makers mark LJ Co is stamped on one terminal. Wear visible on upper face of outer surface. The object is probably a bracelet. XRF analysis of the surface indicates that it is gold alloy close to 9 carat gold.
