A complete cast lead spindle whorl of medieval to post-medieval date. The spindle whorl is bi-conical with a central perforation running through it. One side of the spindle whorl is decorated with an irregularly spaced series of raised pellets while the other appears undecorated though this may be due to an advanced degree of wear. The metal is a dark greyish-brown colour and is worn. The spindle whorl is 27.3mm in diameter, 14.6mm thick and weighs 37.7g. An incomplete cast copper alloy mount of probable post-medieval to modern date, 1500-1800 AD. The front of the mount is convex and decorated with concentric circular patterns, including the outermost ridge there is a three step pattern up towards the centre of the object with a single incised circle around a protruding orbicular pellet which has been centrally perforated. A complete whetstone of Roman to Post Medieval date 43-1800 AD. The stone is a smooth sub-triangular in profile and plano-convex in section. The proximal end is ovate and smoothed with wear. A complete quartzite axehead of late Neolithic date 3500-2100 BC. The axehead is triangular in plan and ovate in section. The dorsal surface is invasively flaked across the entire surface, with negative scars indicating knapping blows from right to left hand sides. The distal edge is ground and polished to create a precise cutting edge, there is some slight notching to the polished aspect of the edge.
