A cast lead spindle whorl of Medieval date, c. 1200-1500.
The spindle whorl is biconical with central perforation. Both faces have raised lines radiating from the centre to the outer edge creating panels each containing three raised dots/pellets arranged in a triangle. One face is very worn.

The spindle whorl is biconical with central perforation. Both faces have raised lines radiating from the centre to the outer edge and raised dots/pellets between some of the lines. One face is very worn.

A complete cast copper alloy probable punch or die of medieval to post-medieval date. The punch is rectangular in cross section at the punch end and tapers to the square sectioned shaft at the end. The design on the punch end is a cross with a wide triangular bas stem, short arms and head.
The metal has a mid brownish-green colour and is worn. The punch is 53.8mm long, 7.7mm wide, 5.1mm thick and weighs 10g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy sheet buckle plate of medieval date. The plate is rectangular in plan and cross section and is very thin with much wear around the edges. The front face is decorated with a punched design consisting of two lozenge shapes, one within the other, and a series of irregular shapes in the resulting inner and outer cells. Two small iron rivets are present in two corners of the plate while a further two holes for rivets remain in the other two corners. The reverse is flat with a single line of punched dots along one of the longer edges.

A complete cast lead seal matrix of medieval date. The seal is a pointed oval or vessica shape with a perforated lug set on a central rib along the longitudinal axis of the reverse. The front face bears a central motif of a circle with a horizontal line running through it surrounded by the legend * S'ALICIE MACTILO (Seal of Alice Mactilo) therefore representing a personal seal of this woman.
The metal is a mid whitish-brown colour and is worn. The seal is 28.6mm long, 23.3mm wide, 9.3mm thick and weighs 16.6g.

A fragment of green glazed pottery dating to the Medieval period. One side has all of the glaze remaining, whilst much of the glaze on the other side has been worn away. One the worn side are a set of incised lines, possibly left from the decoration. The sherd weighs 5.5g and measures 38.5mm at its longest point and 20.5mm at its widest point.

A fragment of green glazed pottery dating to the Medieval period. One side has all of the glaze remaining, whilst all of the glaze on the other side has been worn away. The fabric of the sherd is a cream colour. The sherd weighs 6.2g and measures 29.5mm at its longest point and 20.5mm at its widest point.
