An extremely worn and bent 17th-century silver post-medieval halfgroat of Charles I, Group D, portcullis initial mark, London mint (1633-1634 AD; North 2255 or 2256).
The coin has been bent upwards at the centre. It has a circular perforation probably through the reverse towards 11 o'clock, corresponding with around 6 o'clock on the obverse.
