An incomplete cast copper-alloy object, probably a strap fitting or slide of Early-Medieval date. It has a flat rectangular plate, on the back face of which at either end are single integrally cast rectangular lugs that are missing their outer edges due to old breaks. The front face of the plate has extensive chip carved decoration. This comprises a rectangular border containing at its centre a band of punched pellet shaped motifs. A worn silver coin that has been bent in half due to post-depositional damage. It has been examined by Dr. Luke Treadwell at the University of Oxford (pers. comm. via Dr. John Naylor), who notes that although most of the useful identifying features are now too worn to identify it does resemble a Samanid dirham of late 9th or early 10th century AD date.

A complete cast copper-alloy hooked tag of Post-Medieval date. The tag has an openwork plate that is trefoil shaped and in the form of a Hungerford knot. This consists of a single hatched cord that is interlaced to form the trefoil knot shape, each end of the cord terminating at the top of the plate with a small moulded five petalled rose. From the top of each rose extends a transverse bar that is rectangular in form and D-shaped in section and which creates an attachment loop that is triangular in form. An incomplete cast copper-alloy bow brooch of Iron Age or Roman date. It is an Aucissa derivative brooch, only the bow of which survives, the rest missing due to old breaks. It has a d-shaped bow and what remains of the head plate is flat with a central slot for the missing pin. It is very corroded and any decoration can not be seen. It measures 35.71mm in length, 11.59mm in width, 1.89mm in thickness and weighs 3.31g. It is similar to published examples (Crummy, 1983, no 19 and Hattatt, 1989, no 871).

A fragment of a cast copper-alloy spur of Medieval date. It is a figure of eight terminal from the side of a spur, the rest missing due to old breaks. The broken end is slightly curved forming the v-shaped edge. It is d-shaped in section and decorated with two incised grooves at the curve. The back face is undecorated. It measures 39.37mm in length, 28.22mm in width, 4.16mm in thickness, and weighs 11.35g. It is similar to published examples (Clark, 1995, no 339).

A complete cast copper-alloy finger ring of Medieval date. It is circular in shape and in section and the terminals taper to a point. There is no decoration but it is very worn. It measures 21.22mm in diameter, 4.28mm in thickness, and weighs 3.74g. Similar late Anglo-Saxon finger rings have been found elsewhere in Suffolk in Fressingfield, see SF-10850 and SF-2B1A88 and Freckenham, see SF-2AFE75.
