An incomplete Medieval (1200-1400) cast copper-alloy buckle frame with integral plate, part of which is missing. It measures 19.87x13.43mm and weighs 1.78g. The frame is oval in shape and the internal measurements are 7.55x9.88mm. To one side the D-shaped integral plate extends with a diagonally arranged rib to either side in the angle between frame and plate. At the centre is a circular hole for the pin, which is a piece of copper alloy bent around the axis and narrowing to a point, where it curves upwards slightly. PAS-RC07 Grid F1 Five sherds from Severn Valley coarseware pottery vessels, including one base. As the fabric, colour and thickness differs in each sherd it is likely that different vessels are represented in the assemblage. Not enough survives of the sherds to indicate the form or overall vessel size. The sherds date from the Roman period (50 - 410).
