A Medieval (1200-1500) lead circular seal matrix, very crude and worn and depicting a possible animal at the centre and an inscription around, reading + SIGI ?L (although this could be the back leg of the animal) ?H : The edges are mostly missing through damage and wear. With the cross set at 9 o'clock, the legend begins just after 12 o'clock and finishes at 6 o'clock. Lead Eight Offcuts. Fragments of cast lead sheet with cut edges, most of thickness circa 1.7mm, a small piece is folded, others are mostly crumpled. They include one rectangular fragment with a rectangular nail hole of 3.7mm by 3.2mm, which shows the stripping of lead flashing in two stages: first the lead would be cut around the position of fixing nails enabling large sheets to be removed; and secondly, the nails would be extracted and the small squares of lead left behind would be recovered. A just incomplete, damaged and mis-cast Medieval (1150-1500) lead pilgrim's ampulla. It measures 51.14x33.19x10.99mm and weighs 64.51g. The ampulla is apparently undecorated and has a longitudinal gash on one face. The lug handles to either side appear mis-cast, one barely apparent at all. Beyond an angled, thickened edge. Cast conical lead weight, possibly a steelyard. The underside is flat with a central shrinkage cavity and the top has a trapped iron wire suspension loop. These weights were often chamfered; if this one was it has since been heavily abraded. Weights of this sort were used for a long period and dating usually relies on associated finds but this example probably dates to the Late Medieval or early to mid Post-Medieval period 1400 to1700AD. The length is 46mm and the base diameter 32mm.

Cast globular object with a rounded base and a neat concave depression in its top of diameter 9.5mm and maximum depth 2.5mm, this surface of this feature is smooth and mid grey in colour, and its appearance recalls that of small weights with objects embedded in them. The mass may relate this object to the Scandinavian unit of 4.07gms, in which case this object could represent five such units. This is, however, an uncommon value in that putative series.
