Late Bronze Age gold pendant: one end of a slightly bent round-sectioned shank has been hammered into a D-sectioned loop, while the other expands into a conical terminal on which another object may have swivelled. Formerly described as probably Roman, it has been reassigned, by Caroline Barton and Ben Roberts of the British Museum, to the Late Bronze Age on the basis of its similarity to a copper alloy example in the Boughton Malherbe (Kent) hoard (PAS KENT-15A293). Length 34mm. Width of loop 5.5mm. Diameter of shank 2 - 1.5mm. Diameter of terminal 3mm. Weight 1.89g. 9th century BC.

A Medieval cast copper alloy seal matrix of conical form. It has a faceted hexagonal shaft with a circular suspension loop. The design shows a bear walking right and the legend reads: " *TOVMBEBOSSE". Though the letters are quite clear, it is not easy to understand what this means. A similar seal matrix is NLM-359707 which has a mouse instead of a bear and again, has a legend which is not understood. A cast copper-alloy pendant of medieval date, possibly a harness pendant. The circular pendant has an irregualr stub on the top surface; the remains of an integral perpendicular suspension loop. The reverese of the pendant is flat and plain. The upper surface is moulded in low relief. Within a broadly circular pelleted border is the device device of an eagle facing with head left. Bipartite composite ring, penannular, comprising two solid gold rods possibly soldered together. Maximum external diameter 15mm; maximum internal diameter 8.5mm; breadth 7mm; width of gap 4mm; weight 9.31 grams. The piece belongs to a well known Middle Bronze Age type, decorative in nature, dating to circa 1300-1150BC. Non-destructive X-ray fluorescence analysis of the surface of the gold composite ring from Farndon by the British Museum indicated a gold content of approximately 82%. Mesolithic blade, knapped from mid-grey flint. The blade is roughly rectangular in plan. It has evidence of platform preparation and has a bulb of percussion with some bulbar scaring. Previous flakes have been removed from the dorsal surface. The distal end has possible evidence of retouch, however this could be damage. It is 65.56mm long. 21.38mm wide, 6.53mm thick and weighs 9.0 grams.
