An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy double-looped annular buckle frame (c. 1400-c. 1500 AD). The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear. It is divided centrally by a narrowed bar creating two loops. Each loop is 'D'-shaped in plan and similar in size. There is no indication of a pin-rest. There are two oblique trapezoid projections on one outside edge. These are convex at the front and flat at the rear. The central bar is narrowed and 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat at the rear. An incomplete Medieval to post-Medieval cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1350-c. 1650 AD). On loop is missing. The surviving loop is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat at the rear and the narrowed bar is triangular in cross-section, flat at the rear. The tapering copper-alloy pin is 'D'-shaped in cross-section throughout its length and flat at the rear. The pin has a length of 21.5mm and the width of its loop is 4.1mm. An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle (1620-1680 AD). This buckle is moulded at the front and flat at the rear. The frame is complete and is broadly trapezoidal in plan and each loop is pentagonal in plan on the inside. At each outer edge there is a large open lozenge-shaped knop and at each corner of the frame there is a smaller lobed knop. The bar is narrowed and 'D'-shaped in cross-section. Flint awl, elongated ovoid in plan and plano convex in profile. On the dorsal side the distal tip is retouched and the proximal end cortex. The left margin is fine serration and the right margin is a combination of cortex and retouched edge. On the ventral side the right margin has low angle retouch. The distal end is retouched and there is retouch scarring on the left margin. The flint is dark grey brown and the secondary cortex is grey and fawn in colouring. Mercer (1981) illustrates a similar example on page 135, Fig. 59, No. L. 155 which is dated to the Neolithic period.

Flint flake, elongated ovoid in plan and splinter shaped in profile. The dorsal side has a convex surface with a central mesial ridge. The distal end is blunt and the proximal end both snapped and abraded. The right margin has a serrated edge and the left margin a notch worked mid way. On the ventral side there is a visible bulb of percussion by the proximal end with small flake removal. The flint is semi translucent and fawn with an opaque oatmeal tip in colouring. Butler (2005) illustrates a similar example on page 186, Fig. 76, No. 10 which is dated to the Bronze Age period.

Flint flake, sub triangular in plan and rod shaped in profile. The dorsal side has a ridged convex mesial surface with some flake removal. The distal edge has a retouch scarred notch and the proximal end is fractured. The right margin has a serrated edge and the left a blunt notch mid way. On the ventral side the distal end has a retouched notch and there is a visible bulb of percussion on the proximal end. The flint is putty coloured with mid grey striations. Butler (2005) illustrates a similar example on page 186, Fig. 76, No. 7 which is dated to the Bronze Age period.

Flint scraper, round in plan and almond shaped in profile. The dorsal side has a convex surface with a concave fracture on the left margin. The distal end and right margin have either a spalled or retouched edge which is quite sharp. The ventral side has a slightly convex surface with mesial flake removal. The flint is pale grey brown with cream inclusions in colouring. Mercer (1981) illustrates a similar example on page 135, Fig. 59, No. L. 141 which is dated to the Neolithic period.

Flint scraper, leaf shaped in plan and almond shaped in profile. The dorsal side surface has mesial ridging with cortex on the left side and flake removal on the right. The right margin is serrated. The ventral side has a convex surface with a small chip on the distal tip. The flint is possibly from Beer Head and is dark brown in tone with a high lustre. The secondary cortex is dark beige in colour. Bond (2004) illustrates a similar example on page 154, Fig. 5.138, No. 1 which is dated to the Bronze Age period.

The left margin is fractured and snapped. The ventral side appears to be the smooth side of a pebble. The flint is putty coloured with a tertiary cortex. Butler (2005) illustrates a similar example on page 126, Fig. 50, No. 6 which is dated to the Neolithic period.
