Double-looped buckle frame, both loops oval but with three cusps on inner face of both edges. The narrow bar is slightly recessed from the front face. The central lobe on both edges is decorated with eight closely spaced longitudinal grooves. Measures 34.5 x 29mm. The use of triple cusps is uncommon, a single cusp being more normal, cf. Fingerlin 1971 Abb. 305, Kat. Nr. 249 (dated to the 16th cent.), Whitehead 2003 nos. 344-5 (dated to the 15th cent.) and Dress Access. no. 345 from a context of the first half of the 15th century. This object is more likely to belong to the 15th century.

Composite buckle with iron bar (missing) and iron inside edge with sheet roller. The outside edge is elongated with a deep V-shaped cut-out in the centre and its inner face is rolled into a tube. Measures 42.5 x 18.5mm. Compare two examples from London dated to the 15th century (Fingerlin 1971, Abb. 324-5).

Iron whittle tang knife or other tool with substantial bolster and copper-alloy handle decorated with enamel inlay. The handle, made in two halves, has two broad and convex faces and two narrow and flat. The hilt is rounded. The symmetrical foliar decoration is in black and white enamel, and there is very fine pecking in all the reserved areas. Length of handle 64mm. Total extant length 82mm. Max. width and thickness 12.5 and 9.5mm. A broadly similar handle was found in Spixworth in 2007 (HER 35669; PAS NMS-2C8D44). 17th century Referred to by Papin and Soulat (2017, 6; note 31).

Pin, most of shank which is set into the head is missing. The hollow spherical head is formed from two halves that meet at an equatorial rib decorated with obliquely filed grooves. There are five large ring-and-dots on the upper half. Diameter of head is 18mm. Height of head is 13.5mm. Diameter of shank is 2mm. A similar encircling rib occurs on a pin from Walgherton, Cheshire (PAS LVPL2032). Dates to the 16th century.

Post-medieval silver head-dress pin of the bodkin type, bent several times throughout the length. The shank is of flattened hexagonal section tapering to a blunt point at one end with a transverse rib followed by a pierced, triangular section before a scoop terminal at the other. There is a rectangular slot in the shaft with S G (possibly owner's initials) engraved below it on one face, but no trace of any other decoration. Length (reconstructed) 119mm. Maximum width 6mm. Medieval or post-medieval silver gilt mount or eyelet. Circular, with the impression of the cuttlefish mould, and two integral rivets on the reverse. The front face has a raised transverse panel with convex edges leaving a crescentric flange to either side of the mount. Two thirds of the raised panel are decorated with a narrow central concave moulding flanked by a wider moulding to either side, before an off-centre rectangular hole through a concave face. One-piece copper-alloy strap-end consisting of rectangular split socket with one rivet hole containing an copper-alloy rivet (length 5.5mm, gap 3.5mm), and solid globular terminal, diameter 14mm. Length 28mm. The split continues from the socket for 11mm into the terminal.
