Modern copper alloy trade weight from a stacking set. The weight is circular with a wide raised rim on the top. The top has two concentric incised circles within the rim and stamped initials. The sides are angled and the back flat. The weight is stamped with a crowned GR at 6 o'clock, the crown is weakly stamped or worn, and a crowned V at right angles to this at 12 o'clock. It is 20.3mm in diameter and 3.5mm thick; it weighs 5.61 grams, 0.215 oz. It was probably originally a quarter of an ounce with some weight lost to corrosion. Iron spur with white metal coating, probably of later 18th to early 20th century date. The spur sides are d shaped in section with a flat inner side and a plain flat circular terminal, 9.3mm in diameter, with a circular hole to hold a mushroom stud. The sides widen and thicken slightly towards the back, from 5.4mm by 4.4mm to 7.9mm by 6.2mm. There is no crest. The long neck is circular in section, 6.2mm, and straight, projecting from the middle of the back of the spur. It is now 43.8mm long and ends in a V shape, presumably the broken end of the rowel box. A fragment of a broken polished stone adze originally thought to be of Neolithic date, now thought to be a modern, Ethnographic, example. The fragment comprises of part of the blade end of the adze. It is now 'D' shaped in plan with a straight break along the width of the head and a convex curved cutting edge. It is pointed oval in section with convex faces and slightly flattened points at each side, one face is flatter than the other suggesting iit is an adze rather than an axe. Three fragments of a modern lead alloy incomplete statue. It is hollow with a mix of old and recent breaks. The largest fragment consist of a man's head and torso and there is a seperate leg fragment. There is also a small unidentifiable fragment of the statue. The statue wears a Phrygian cap with striped neck cover and a cloak garment with long shoulder caps trailing to his elbows. Home made lead die, probably of 19th century date. The die is a cube with two opposing convex sides and four flat sides. It is unlikely the die would settle on the convex sides leaving four options. On three sides a letter has been scratched by hand: T, P and L and on the fourth side is a large indent. It is 18.7mm across the convex sides, 15.2mm by 15.9 across the others and weighs 36.21 grams. Home made lead items are hard to date precisely but the style of the lettering suggests a relatively modern date.
