A complete Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular uni-faced token. The token has a raised design of the initial WC with a pellet between on one side, the other side has the initial I. It is 25.77mm in diameter, 2.85mm thick and weighs 9.1 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally, they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with initials are generally thought to be Post Medieval in date, c.1500-1850 AD.

sub-rectangular flat silver object, possibly a bracelet fragment (?). The two long edges undulate and the object becomes narrower at one end. At the narrow short edge there is a transverse loop made of wire and soldered on. At the wider short edge it is possible to see that another element had been soldered on, but is now missing. Both sides are decorated, but this is undistinguishable.

Object type: VESSEL
Broad period: UNKNOWN
County: West Berkshire

This cast metal fragment appears to be the side wall of a cylindrical vessel, approximately 90mm diameter and made from what appears to be bronze. The top edge (in the image) seems to have a moulding suggesting a rim was just above it and on the reverse it starts to roll to the front. The lower edge also seems to have broken quite evenly and straight. At approximately the mid-point a hole has been drilled (or cast?) from the outside surface inwards as it is countersunk.

Possibly an incomplete, Roman, copper alloy stylus or cosmetic applicator. The object has a circular-sectioned shaft which curves and has been broken off, losing the pointed end. The bend may be post depositional damage or may be part of its design to sit comfortably in the hand. At its blunt end, the shaft starts to flare into a paddle-like terminal. This terminal is thinner than the shaft, has flat surfaces and is decorated with 4 large ring and dots and one edge with 4 smaller circles. The object measures 61.3mm long, up to 6.8mm wide and 2.5mm thick (shaft) and 1.0mm spatula end. …

A post medieval bale seal dating to the 1840s and is probably from Russia or the Baltic region.

The reverse legend reads APXЪE/ OTEOMMЪI/ 2COPIE/ ЕЛ/ 184...
SWYOR-93AC9 describes a similar example although slightly earlier in date.
