A cast copper alloy rotary key: The key has an elaborate bow which is a sub-trefoil in plan and decorated with elaborate lattice openwork formed by five cells. The shank has a triple collar below the bow, and is then narrowed, solid, circular in section and tapering to a blunt point where the bit is missing. This tapering may be due to damage as the tip was probably hollow (a complete example recorded on the PAS database SUR-2A0636 http://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/487600 has a hollow tip). A cast copper alloy probable buckle with an integral strap fitting. The buckle frame is missing however, the integral plate remains. This is elongated sub-rectangular with a bulbous terminal. It is a pointed oval in section. Towards the buckle frame there is an incomplete hole through which, originally, the pin would have been fixed. Below this is the bulbous section which has a rivet hole and the remains of a copper alloy rivet. The remaining integral strap fitting is narrowed and undecorated. An incomplete lead alloy hooked tag/dress hook. The plate of this tag is made of lead alloy and is sub-circular in plan. The outer face is decorated with a beaded border and has a central cross formed by pellets. The reverse has a central rectangular slot where the hook was probably originally embedded. There is also a casting seam visible. The surface has a matte light grey colour. The hook and loop are missing. It measures 19.6mm long, 18.08mm wide and weighs 3.8g. An early Post Medieval cast copper alloy incomplete strap mount. The centre of the body of the mount is a circular dome with an integral drop shape protruding from one edge. This drop has a triangular openwork shape decorating it. The tip of the drop terminates with a solid hert shape. The opposite edge of the central dome has a broken edge. A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy composite three-piece button (c. 1600-c. 1700 AD). This sheet button consists of a pair of hollow die-stamped hemispheres soldered together. The front is conical and the back is convex and has a central soldered wire loop/shank. There is a small patch of silvering on the back. Height: 11.06; diameter: 8.95mm. Weight: 0.66g.

A cast copper alloy early post-medieval hooked tag. The tag has a circular openwork body with holes (many full of corrosion) arranged around a central equal-armed cross pattern. The rectangular loop attachment is missing but the hook opposite is present except for the tip. Compare BERK-A0F141 which cites Read (2008); Class E Type 3 (no.370). It dates from about AD 1500-1550.
