Wear levels are identical (a little but not much wear underneath a dirty brown patina) and so these two coins could represent part of a purse loss or hoard. Since there are only two of them, however, they do not represent a case of Treasure

A knapped flint discoidal scraper of Early to Middle Bronze Age date. The scraper is discoidal, with flakes struck from both faces, and approximately 75% of the outer edge pressure-flaked. The flint is a honey brown colour with two patches of white outer cortex visible on one face.

A fragment of green glazed pottery dating to the Medieval period. One side has all of the glaze remaining, whilst much of the glaze on the other side has been worn away. One the worn side are a set of incised lines, possibly left from the decoration. The sherd weighs 5.5g and measures 38.5mm at its longest point and 20.5mm at its widest point. An incomplete Roman (c AD 43-125) copper alloy knife end-cap from a scale-tang knife, retaining part of the iron blade and with a little damage to part of the open end. It measures 40.98x(max)15.52x(max)9.65mm and weighs 20.1g. The end-cap is rectangular in cross-section, becoming thicker towards the terminal (13.13x6.19mm at open end, 15.52x9.65mm at other). Description: Post Medieval lozenge-shaped silver gilt hooked tag. Front surface has a small pellet in each corner of the lozenge with a further three slightly larger pellets per side, totalling sixteen pellets. A medieval seal matrix, oval in shape, set with a Classical gem. The legend surrounding the gem reads +SIGILL: ALANI: DE: DVNTVNE On the reverse is a raised ridge that would originally have terminated in a loop, now missing. A Medieval silver ear-scoop and toothpick, with a twisted shank, with engraved decoration along the twisted surface, hammered into a scoop at one end, which is broken off, and with a flat pointed tip at the other end, probably intended as a toothpick or for cleaning the nails. A cast copper-alloy hooked tag of Post-Medieval date. It is a Read Class E, type 3 tag with a rectangular attachment loop surmounting an openwork circular plate. At the base of the plate is a collar comprising two bands leading to the integrally cast hook which is complete. The decoration in the centre of the plate is too worn to be identified. It measures 26.19mm in length, 14.11mm in width, 1.59mm in thickness and weighs 1.81g. It is similar to published examples (Read, 2008, no 339).

A worn cast copper alloy and gilded medieval buckle frame and plate. The pin is missing. The frame is oval with a sloping outer edge and is decorated with a scrolling foliate form. The rectangular plate is 19.25mm wide and has two rivets. Decoration on the plate comprises a thinly engraved right-facing lion with his tail in the air and a paw raised. The borders are notched but the edge of the plate adjacent to the frame is decorated with a zigzag.
