Cast copper alloy two-piece domed button with soldered attachment loop. The face of the button is very worn and hard to make out but the back mark is clear: .FIRMIN & WESTALL. STRAND which operated in London from c.1794-1812. The letters within the seven-pointed star of the Order of the Garter, surmounted by a crown, appear to be D G which stands for Dragoon Guards, with an X above them which would stand for the 10th Regiment which became the Prince of Wales' Own Hussars in 1806. A cast lead weight of Post-Medieval to Modern date, c. 1700-1900. The weight is cylindrical, tapering slightly from base to top. One edge of the top has two rectangular indentations from the edge, probably indicating the value of the weight. It measures 1.88oz, and it was probably intended as a 2oz weight.

A cast copper-alloy buckle of 17th-18th century date. The buckle is double-looped, with flaring D-shaped outer frames emerging either side of a cast integral crossbar. Grooved, moulded banding runs across the width of the outer frame at both ends of the buckle, and one end shows a work groove in the outer frame.

An incomplete cast uniface probably post-medieval lead token. Probably Powell Type 14 depicting a single cross dividing the field into quarters with a single pellet in each quarter. Two arms of the cross remain with the pellets in each surviving quarter; approximately half of the original flan remains, truncated by a rough break. Diameter 19.3 mm, Thickness 1.74 mm, Weight: 1.61 g. The condition is good with some surface corrosion present.

The token is decorated with an abstract image including a human figure. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore difficult to date precisely. The complexity of the design suggests a probable late Medieval or Post Medieval date for this token (c.1450-1800AD). It measures 21.00 mm in diameter and is 2.10 mm thick and it weighs 5.81 grams. Condition is good with some surface corrosion present.

A ceramic vessel fragment; a rim sherd of Post Medieval pottery. The fabric is hard and fine in texture. It is a mottled dark grey and orange colour with few visible inclsuions. The inner face and over the rim is glazed with a thick dark brown glaze which is blistered and discoloured to black. This may be a poorly fired version of a Post medieval black ware. The rim is simply angled outwards and the piece is too small to estimate the rim diameter.The sherd is 34.56mm long, 23.41mm wide and 7.87mm thick. It weighs 9.87gm.

Two ceramic vessel fragments; wall sherds of probably Post Medieval pottery. The fabric is hard and fine in texture, though abraded. It is a dark grey with few visible inclusions, but the smaller piece is less reduced and is buff coloured. The outer surfaces of the large piece and all faces of the small piece are glazed in a crazed uniform yellow green colour. The smaller piece is a rim sherd with a simple out turned rim, but is too small to estimate the rim diameter.

Cast iron shot, spherical in shape, with pitted surface, but with most of the surface iron corrosion product having fallen away since it was found, leaving the original object. An incomplete Post Medieval cast lead Powder Flask cap, circa 1600 AD - 1700 AD. One of the integral loops that attached the cap to a bandolier is missing. The cap secured the mouth of a flask, that held a single charge of gunpowder for a Musket. Sometimes up to twelve such flasks were attached to a bandolier and were referred to as "Apostles".
