An incomplete cast copper alloy pin of early-medieval date. Only the pinhead and a short length of the upper shaft remain intact. The pinhead is polyhedral, with ring and dot decoration in the four side panels. The shaft has a circular cross-section, and terminates in a worn break. The metal has a dark greenish-brown patina and is worn. The pin is 10mm long, 6.4mm wide, 4.9mm thick and weighs 1.3g.

A complete cast copper alloy buckle of medieval date. The buckle is a single looped oval with a single collared knop projecting from the outer edge and a narrowed and offset strap bar. The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The buckle is 17.5mm long, 11.8mm wide, 2.6mm thick and weighs 0.7g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.21, no.85 and is dated to circa 1250 - 1400.

The pot mend is comprised of two large sub-circular discs joined by a thick central shank and was used to mend a broken vessel in order to lengthen the period of use after damage had occurred. The gap between the two plates contains ceramic material of a mid buff coloured fabric which aids in dating the object as a whole to the medieval period. The metal is a dark greyish-white colour and is worn. The pot mend is 34.6mm long, 29mm wide, 17.9mm thick and weighs 61g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy plate brooch of Roman date. The brooch is ovate in plan with a slightly raised border and central oval element. The resulting recessed areas would have been filled with enamel though no traces of this survive. An incomplete cast copper alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date. All that remains of the brooch is the wide, trumpet shaped head with a slightly concaved reverse and single lug to accommodate the pin mechanism. The pin and pin mechanism no longer remain. The front of the head is elaborately decorated with moulded opposing knob ended tendrils. The interior of the tendrils bear traces of blue enamel while the outer recessed appear to hold red enamel. The remaining fragment of the spoon is the "Maidenhead" finial in the bust of a female comprising an ovate head with straight fringe and shoulder length hair, narrow shoulders and curved bust. The back of the head is marked by wavering lines giving the impression of flowing hair. Below the bust is a triple banded collar with a worn and broken terminal. The finger ring is decorated with a scrolled foliate design. The internal surface is smooth and undecorated. The metal has a dark reddish-brown patina and is worn. The finger ring is 25.1mm in diameter, 5.4mm wide, 1.1mm thick and weighs 1.9g.

An incomplete cast lead whistle of modern date. The whistle is a hollow cone with open apex and a sub-triangular section removed to act as the sound hole. A casting seem is present along the two sides of the whistle and it is moulded with a design consisting of two ovate elements, giving the appearance of eyes. An incomplete cast copper alloy pipe tamper of post-medieval date. The hoop of the tamper is ovate in plan and circular in section with a sexfoil "bezel". Opposite the bezel a worn projection extends which is now broken but would have attached the tamper proper to the hoop. The metal has a light reddish-brown patina and is worn. The tamper is 24.8mm long, 18.2mm wide, 1.5mm thick and weighs 2.6g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle is a trapezoidal shoe or knee buckle with a drilled frame for a separate spindle. The sides are concaves and the outer curved edges are ribbed. The pin remains in tact and is triangular in plan. A chape is also present around the spindle though the terminal no longer survives. The metal has a mid reddish-brown patina and is worn. The buckle is 21.1mm long, 17.6mm wide, 3.2mm thick and weighs 3.1g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.99, no.624 and is dated to circa 1660 - 1720.
