A complete cast lead spindle whorl of medieval to post-medieval date. The spindle whorl is bi-conical with a wide central perforation running through it. Both sides are worn and are decorated with triangular cells with raised pellets within. The metal is a mid greyish-brown colour and is worn. The spindle whorl is 26.5mm in diameter, 9.4mm thick and weighs 26.3g. Lead spindle whorls were commonly used from the Iron Age through to the post-medieval period and are difficult to date with any certainty. An incomplete cast copper alloy headstud brooch of Roman date. The pin no longer survives. The head is comprised of wide concave wings with double lugs on the reverse through which the pin was hinged. The wings appear undecorated and extend centrally into a square sectioned bow which is also undecorated. The bow terminates in a worn circular foot knop with a flat base and the worn remains of the catchplate project from the reverse of the lower bow. An incomplete lead-alloy mount of late post medieval date (AD 1600-1800). Approximately half of the mount is missing due to an old break. The mount is composed of an outer circular band with an outer ridge and incised band with a raised lip toward the inner portion of the outer band. Within the band are hollow concentric circles, two and a half remain intact. At the centre of the mount is a solid quadrate with a raised circular central aspect. The metal is a light cream and green colour. Length, 49.6mm, Width, 6.7mm, Weight, 28.4g.

An incomplete clay pipe (smoking) post-medieval date (AD 1620-1700). All that remains is the complete bowl which is small and bulbous with a single incised circumferential line around the rim. There is a slim flat foot beneath the bowl with no discernable makers mark. The pipe stem is missing due to an old break and the hole through to the bowl is central. Two complete lead alloy shot of post medieval date (AD 1600-1800). Both shot show demonstrable signs of casing from seams, one more pronounced than the other. Both musket balls have one slightly flattened aspect which indicates that these musket balls have impacted a target. The surface of each ball contains some irregular incised cut marks. The colour of the musket balls is a light grey. Diameter: 15.5mm, Weight: 22.4g Diameter: 15.5mm, Weight: 21.6g Egan, P 202. An incomplete handle of medieval green glaze pottery, possibly from a late Brandby-Type ware or Scarborough ware jug (AD 1200-1400). Most of the green glaze has been lost allowing the orange coloured clay beneath to be visible with a sandy grey core exposed by an old break. There is some evidence of decoration present, incised linear patterns running longitudinally from a convex lozenge at the top of the handle to the present lower terminating end. A complete cast copper alloy clasp of late post medieval to early modern date (AD 1700-1800). The central clasp is circular with a barley style twisted incised pattern, flat in profile. An incomplete cast copper alloy brooch of Roman date. All that remains of the brooch is the undecorated, D-shaped sectioned lower bow and wide circular foot knop. A worn catchplate also remains extending from the reverse of the bow. The metal has a mid reddish-brown patina and is very worn. The brooch is 38.4mm long, 10.4mm wide, 15.8mm thick (with catchplate) and weighs 6.5g. An insufficient portion remains of the brooch in order to designate a specific type.
