A fragment of a cast copper alloy vessel of medieval to post-medieval date. The fragment is part of the rim of a probable cooking vessel such as a cauldron or skillet. The rim is roughly rectangular in shape and cross-section with an irregular thickness. The vessel is smooth and turning marks can be seen on both faces of the object. The breaks around the rim fragment are very worn. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour and is worn. The fragment is 70.9mm long, 19.4mm wide, 1.7mm thick and weighs 15.5g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy stand of Roman date. Stands such as this have been interpreted as votive model altars and is one tier of a probable three tiered object. The altar is square in plan with a flat top and hollow base and four small worn knops projecting from each corner of the upper surface which would have allowed the stand to secure into holes in the legs of an upper tier. The sides of the object are decorated with a recessed square with a saltaire cross, the resulting cells of which are infilled with enamel. An incomplete cast copper alloy parallel-winged terret of Iron Age date. Approximately one-third of the object remains. What remains of the hoop of the terret is circular in section with a wide collar from which a rectangular sectioned fitting bar would have projected. The hoop itself tapers away from the collar curving steadily and terminates in a worn break. An incomplete cast copper alloy probable flat or flanged axehead of early Bronze Age date. Only the blade end with a widely curved cutting edge survives, the rest having been lost to old and worn breaks. A faint casting flash is present in the tight curve of the blade tips. The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The axehead is 32.3mm long, 65.1mm wide, 11.3mm thick and weighs 69g.

A complete cast copper alloy button and loop fastener of Iron Age to Roman date. The fastener is of Wild's Class II and is ring headed with a circular sectioned shank projecting at a 90 degree angle from the edge with a thin lip moulding. The shank bends again at a 90 degree angle and splits to form a triangular loop on a separate plain below the head. The metal has a mid reddish-brown patina and is fairly worn. An incomplete cast copper alloy mirror handle of late Iron Age date. The handle comprises a circular sectioned shank broken at one end and terminating in a loop at the other. The shaft is beaded with only three beads remaining one of which tapers to the integrally cast keeled loop terminal. The opposite end is broken and worn. The metal has a light greenish-brown patina and is worn. The handle is 39mm long, 10.5mm in diameter at the base and the loop is 15.1mm in diameter and 5.1mm thick. It weighs 10.9g.

A complete cast copper alloy heraldic mount or plaque of medieval date. The mount is shield shaped and is decorated on one side with an armorial design consisting of four raised, upward pointing chevrons. Slightly discernable is the red tincture of the enamel of the chevrons and there is also some patchy traces of gilding still survivng. A complete cast copper alloy flanged axehead of early Bronze Age date. The axehead is sub-rectangular with a narrow and thin rounded butt and widely curved cutting edge. From the butt the body extends, expanding slightly in width towards a splayed blade and cutting edge. There are slightly raised flanges along the sides both of which show signs of wear and the surface of the axehead around the cutting edge is quite corroded and pitted. A complete cast copper alloy zoomorphic knife end cap of post-medieval date. The cap is oval in section and is in the form of a stylized animal head, probably representing a dog or similar. The head has an elongated snout with a flattened end which curves upwards slightly. The mouth is indicated by a single incised groove running around the snout and the eyes are formed by single punched dots.
