A complete flint micro-burin of late Mesolithic date (6300-4300 BC). The lithic is sub-rectangular is profile. The dorsal surface contains five predominant negative scars with corresponding arrises and there is a pointed aspect to the left hand side of the distal edge. The distal, left and right hand edges have been retouched and the proximal edge has been abruptly blunted. The ventral surface is smooth and slightly concave.
The flint is a light brown in colour with cream inclusions throughout.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Anglo-Saxon/Early-Medieval ansate brooch. It is missing the pin, most of the catchplate and possibly the ends of the pin lug due to old breaks. The brooch is flat, rectangular in form with flattened rectangular terminals connected by a gently curving bow of the same width. Where the bow and terminals meet are the remains of small semi-circular or sub-rectangular knops projecting from each side of the brooch. The lithic is sub-rectangular in profile with three predominant negative scars on the dorsal surface, the both the proximal and distal ends have been blunted, the proximal end abruptly, and there is retouch to the distal ends of the left and right hand edges. The ventral surface is flat and smooth with the exception of a small bulb of percussion at the distal end which has a flake removed from its surface.

Two small pellets of metal of unknown date, probably lead alloy, which are probably the result of metal working in the area. One is a white patinated sub-spherical pellet which is about 4.8mm in diameter and weighs 0.49g. The other is a solid hemisphere of dark grey metal (perhaps unpatinated lead alloy). The flat face is rough and pitted, and the convex face is smooth with pimples at the apex. It is 6.04mm in diameter, 3.9mm tall and weighs 0.48g. A flint triangular arrowhead formed on translucent pale grey flint. It has invasive working over the whole of both faces and shallow retouch round the edges which are convex. One edge is different; it is a hinged termination break and is not retouched, though there is some edge damage. Triangular arrowheads occur in Neolithic assemblages alongside transverse, barbed and tanged, and leaf shaped arrowheads. they are discussed on page 160 of Butler's Prehistoric Flintwork.
