An incomplete cast copper-alloy Anglo-Saxon/Early-Medieval ansate brooch. It is missing the pin, most of the catchplate and possibly the ends of the pin lug due to old breaks. The brooch is flat, rectangular in form with flattened rectangular terminals connected by a gently curving bow of the same width. Where the bow and terminals meet are the remains of small semi-circular or sub-rectangular knops projecting from each side of the brooch. The brooch is complete except of a pin and consists of solid circular sectioned wings, a circular sectioned tapering bow and a complete catch-plate. The brooch is plain except for a ridge running down the upper part of the bow, which has been incised with horizontal lines to form a row of square protrusions.

An incomplete Initial T-shaped brooch with hinge mechanism, missing the pin-shank and the curl of the catchplate. The brooch measures 60.81mm in length and weighs 4.7g. It measures 13.11x15.35x5.24mm and weighs 1.9g. The headplate measures 15.35x8.34x2.03mm (without lug).
