An incomplete, cast copper alloy possible pipe tamper. The tamper takes the form of a claw hammer, though half the claw and the head of the hammer is missing. To either side of the head is a double ring and dot motif and there is a hole on the top side. The hammer head is attached to a cylindrical shaft that is decorated along its length with incised circumferential lines, and again there is a hole in one side. A copper alloy possible lace chape. The object is roughly cylindrical (now slightly crushed), formed from a single sheet of copper alloy folded over. The object has a splayed foot that has small notches taken out from the edges as decoration, and a small splayed and notched terminal at the opposite end. The object bears similarities to medieval lace chapes, although the patina on this object suggests and older date. Further research and comparisions are being sought.

n incomplete cast copper alloy buckle or strap loop. The buckle has a D-shaped frame with integral stop-spike, and the remains of an openwork frame with three prongs and a single circular aperture. Although no direct comparison could be found, it is likey that this buckle or strap loop dates from the medieval into the post-medieval period, c. 1350-1700.

A copper alloy leg from a small cast copper alloy cooking vessel, like a cauldron or possibly a ewer. The vessel leg has a roughly circular cross section, with a flat but angled top where it attached to the bottom or side of vessel bowl, and an angles foot; when standing, the leg would have risen c. 30mm to the vessel. Cast copper alloy cooking vessels were in use for a long time, and this example dates from between c. AD 1350 and c.1600.

An incomlpete cast copper alloy purse frame, dating to the early post-medieval period. The purse frame consists of the swivel loop and one portion of the cross-bar. The swivel still moves freely; there is possibly the remains of x-shaped decoration on the swivel block, but the remainder of the frame is undecorated. These purse frames date from the early 16th century, c. 1500-1550 AD.

A handaxe of Lower Palaeolithic date measuring 159mm x 99mm. Bifacially worked with relatively crude flaking. Mmottled light grey flint and has a creamy patina and much iron staining. Some damage has occurred during the axe's long history.

A fragment of a ground flint axe of Neolithic date. What survives may be the butt end but it appears to have been used as a hammer and which end survives is not clear. The axe has a chalky cream patina with much iron staining.

Probably late Neolithic or Bronze Age flake fragment or debitage dating from c. 4000-1000BC. The flake is white in colour and the flint is heavily patinated. It is of triangular shape - it used to be longer but snapped and only the lower section survives. Possibly a primary waste flake that was reused as a knife or scraper: it shows retouch along the lower edge.
