A late Medieval cast copper-alloy annular buckle with an incomplete pin dating to c.1250-1450. Flattened circular frame, with a pin simply wrapped around and able to traverse completely around it. The pin is missing the tip and is formed from flat copper-alloy strip with the reverse having 'turned up' sides to increase rigidity strength. Both buckle and pin display an even green patina. Diameter 25.1mm, thickness 2.1mm, weight 3.4g. See, Whitehead (2003) No.38 and see similar examples on this database at: KENT-9ADC2D, SWYOR-32E805 and IOW-21E5B7.

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle plate of Medieval date. It is rectangular, with two holes which held integral lugs, one of which is misisng. There is moulding around the outside of the plate. A third integral lug is in situ at the break end of the plate.  Without the buckle frame it is difficult to date more precisely than c.AD 1250-1500. Length: 18.98mm Width: 17.19mm Weight: 2.18g

An incomplete copper-alloy strap fitting of probable Medieval date. It is rectangular in shape, made out of a sheet, with a circular hole at one end, and the remains of another hole at the break end. An incomplete cast copper-alloy post-medieval dress fastener (dress hook) dating to c.AD 1500-1600. Read Class E Type 5. The object is trefoil in form, cast in one-piece with moulded relief and openwork. The trefoil dress hook is rendered with an undecorated Hungerford knot, each running end of the cord terminates with a pellet. Above is a transverse linear plano-convex rod for attachment to an additional dress hook. There is a plain ridged collar at the juncture of the plate and hook. The hook terminates in an old break. A cast copper alloy early medieval stirrup mount dating to c. AD 1000-1100. Williams Class B Type 1 Group 3 (see Williams 1997, Fig. 55, no. 409).
