An incomplete Early Medieval cast copper alloy small-long brooch. The head of the brooch comprises of a 1.4mm thick sub-rectangular flat plate (9mm x 15mm). On both short sides of the head and one of the long sides there is ring and dot decoration; four on the long side and three on the short sides (corner ring and dots are shared such that there are eight ring and dots in total). A small part of one corner has broken away around the inner extremity of the decorative ring. An incomplete cast copper alloy headstud brooch of Roman date. The pin, catchplate and lower bow no longer survive. From the reverse of the head the tubular lugs through which the pin was hinged remain intact and the remains of the axis bar can be seen within. A copper alloy T-shaped brooch length 43mm, width 30mm, thickness 17mm, weight 11.76g. The brooch has cylindrical wings which hold the pin axis bar a slot in the rear for the pin which is still in place. The front of the wings are decorated with two pairs of vertical grooves. Complete copper alloy penannular brooch frame with missing pin of Fowler Type C. The frame is constructed of a single length of wire which is sub-square in section with rounded edges. The penannular frame has terminals formed by both ends of the frame coiled back onto the frame. The terminals both consist of a single coil. Most of these brooches are dated 1st - 2nd century, although a few are later and quite a number appear as reused in Anglo-Saxon (Early Medieval) contexts.

A cast copper alloy Roman brooch, probably of an Aucissa variant, dating from AD25 - 75. It has a round, almost hemispherical foot and a flat bow which is rectangular in section, and decorated with two narrow grooves, one along each edge, and a broader central groove. This central groove contains a single wavy line running from one end of the bow to the other. At the upper end of the bow, it widens and is rolled underneath to form two short, undecorated wings which hold a copper alloy pin bar. Cast copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill (Mackreth 2011, Part 3, Group 5.b4, flat wing ends type, Western Group). Length 47mm, width 25mm, thickness 15mm, weight 14.09g. Rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings would have held the spring support bar. There is a loop at the top of the head which would have held the external cord. A crest runs from the loop, down the length of the brooch. The lower part of the bow missing resulting in the loss of the catch plate. Date 70-150AD

An incomplete gold dog brooch of uncertain date, possibly early Post-Medieval. This three dimensional brooch seems to have been hollow or at least the body was hollow. The dog is positioned left with the head turned forwards. One ear is missing however the ear nearest the tail survives in good condition. All four legs are missing and there is a break across the chest area that is now filled with mud. The curled tail survives. Small-long brooch of uncertain type, base of bow and footplate missing. The top and lateral edges of the headplate are also missing. A rounded notch in the lower edge survives on both sides of the junction with the bow. There was a central panel defined by fine vertical grooves and presumably by horizontal grooves. A brooch which has been been constructed using a Medieval Silver hammered coin; a "canopy" type penny of William I dating to 1070-2. North 843. The coin has been gilded on the reverse which has become the front of the brooch. A Medieval silver gilt brooch. The brooch is missing its pin and has one fragment detached. The brooch is roughly oval in shape and tapers slightly to a point where two hands protrude from the brooch frame. Medieval silver annular brooch. The frame made from sheet silver. It has a convex profile with a grooved line running around the edges of the face. There is a broken hole on one side of the frame though which the pin would have been secured.
