A cast copper alloy Roman bow brooch of Headstud type with the remains of a hinged pin. The bow is decorated with a band of notching and has brodering grooves. The stud is round and has a central boss. The rounded flat foot sits below a pair of transverse ridges.

An incomplete copper alloy Late Iron Age/ Early Roman La Tène III (AD 20-100) simple one-piece or Nauheim derivative type brooch. It is missing the lower bow and catchplate, and the pin is bent to one side. The brooch measures 43.26mm in length and weighs 4.23g. The head consists of four spring coils 11.22mm wide with a copper alloy axis bar between (11.71mm wide). The third coil from the left extends into the pin, which narrows to a point. Cast copper alloy brooch foot dating from the early medieval period, that is c. AD700-900. Only the foot and part of the catchplate survive. The bow, head and pin are missing. The brooch is very worn, but there does not seem to be any surface decoration or mouldings. The foot plate is oval and what remains of the bow is hollow. It may possibly be the foot of an Ansate brooch (pers. comm. Helen Geake).

An incomplete cast copper alloy probable pendant of post-medieval date. The pendant is ovate in plan with the raised design of a male bust on both sides. The figures appear to have short cropped hair and be wearing ruffs; an item of clothing worn popular from the mid-sixteenth century to the mid-seventeenth century. The metal has a mid reddish-brown patina and is worn. The object is 30.6mm long, 23.9mm wide, 3.4mm thick and weighs 7.8g.

An incomplete Roman (AD 50-150) copper alloy Colchester Derivative T-shaped brooch with hinge mechanism, missing the pin shank and the lower bow and catchplate. An incomplete Roman (AD 280-410) gilded and tinned/ silvered copper alloy early form of crossbow brooch or Light Crossbow brooch, measuring 41.88mm in length and weighing 3.74g. It is missing most of the pin shaft and most of one wing half. The wingspan is 14.36mm, and would originally have been c.20mm. An incomplete cast lead or lead alloy two part cloth seal of probable post medieval date (1600-1700 AD). The surviving part of the cloth seal consists of the upper disc and part of the linking strip; the central rivet and rear face is lost. The cloth seal is sub-oval in plan and irregular in cross section. The front face of the cloth seal is marked with an off centre shield of St George, with another emblem beside which is unclear. Large fragment of a buckle plate dating from the medieval period, that is c. AD1250-1400. The fragment surviving belonged to a single looped buckle with decorated integral buckle plate. The buckle frame, pin holder and pin are missing. The surfaces of the plate are very worn and do not show any sign of surface decoration. There is only a very small moulding towards the tip of the plate, next to the rivet hole.

Very worn cast copper alloy mount, possibly a book or box mount dating from the post-medieval or early modern period, that is c. AD1500-1800. The mount is composed of a long narrow strip with wavy edges, terminating in a large flat, circular disc. There is one thick moulding in the centre of the mount. Both surfaces are extremely worn and no further decoration is visible. On the reverse are three attachment lug which are all bent over. This suggests that the mount was attached to a thin sheet of wood or, more likely, a leather cover or leather strap.
